I was overhearing some women talking in a restaurant about how one of their boyfriends is not circumsized, and the other one shouted out loud "Eww!".
What is with people? This just starts making me feel self concious about dating. Even my ex girlfriend over many years was trying to get me to get my penis snipped. WTF?? If I didn't have it done by now, it isn't gonna happen. The idea of a doctor getting anything sharp near my soldier is just sick.
I am glad that groups like this exist. Good to vent.

Re: Venting
Tue, August 29, 2006 - 8:41 PMKim, people are stupid. Really, really stupid. They only think what they are told to think. The woman who cried "Eww!" probably never saw a foreskin once in her entire life. She only said what she did because she cannot think for herself and thought that that was supposed to be her response. Instead of getting upset, I just pity people like that. I pity them for being the shallow, stupid and brainless sheep that they are... and I pity them that they may never experience sex in the fullness and glory that mother nature and god intended it to be experienced.
My wife appreciates me because she has suffered through circumcised sex her whole life. She has experienced the dryness, the soreness, and the roughness. She thought that sex was "just supposed to be that way... feel good but hurt after..." but now she knows better.
She is a very vocal intactivist. She tells everyone that I am intact (embarassingly so, sometimes) and let's them know just how much better it is. When the subject of circumcision comes up, she is very quick to condemn it and very adamant on her position.
I am lucky she is so supportive, and hopefully you will find someone who is just as smart and non-conformist as she is. -

Re: Venting
Thu, May 17, 2007 - 7:12 PMWhile I am glad that your wife can voice her opinion, your post also worries me. As a victim of mutilation, the current myths do help me through twisting people's perceptions to believe that a circumcized member is actually preferable (a completely ridiculous belief). I think that this is part of the reason why the procedure is still done. Circumcized men do not want to have to compete for partners with intact (superior) men.
