foreskin & sand question

ok, i'm venturing over here from the postpartum mammas tribe with a question from another mama. many of us have decided to leave our baby boys intact, however, none of us seems to know the answer to this question! lol

what do we do if we take our boys to the beach & they get a little sand under their unretracted foreskin? we can't exactly pull it back to clean it, so how do you get any stray sandgrains out of there?

Help finding toys for Girls and Boy (cut boys)

I propose that the industry start to use tags that actually include an image of male or female genitalia. If that's how we're planning on making children define themselves and understand their place in the world, why not be as direct as possible? That way there could be quite a bit more variety, they could branch out a little from the all pink or all blue packaging and still make sure that kids know their roles. For example, girls could know that the kitchen item below was for them, but it could be made in primary colors, it wouldn't have to have the pastel "girls" color coding. Mattel, call me!

I alway think blue and pink colors worked just fine But maybe more help Is needed

IS this toy just for boys who have been circumcised ?
Or maybe there are other toys for the rest of use to play with ?

Medicalized (non-religious) circumcision, an invention of English-speaking physicians, is in steep decline everywhere in the world — except for the United States. Join Marilyn Milos, RN; John Geisheker, Esq.,; Ronald Goldman, Ph.D.; Gillian Longley, RN, BSN; and Miriam Pollack in a critical examination of the practice of infant male circumcision in North America.
The Foreskin

The United States has been a predominantly circumcising culture since the mid 20th century, a time when childbirth and infancy began to be heavily medicalized through childbirth interventions and the aggressive marketing of infant formulas. Along with the loss of knowledge of normal childbirth and breastfeeding, Americans have also lost their knowledge of the normal intact (non-circumcised) penis.

This lack of knowledge of the foreskin on the part of North American parents and health professionals underlies, in part, the perpetuation of the practice of circumcision, and has frequently led to false or harmful advice on the care of intact boys. Part I of this series will demystify the foreskin, while at the same time laying a foundation for understanding the harmful impact of its loss to circumcision.

Warning: These workshops are liberally illustrated with photographs and diagrams of adult and infant penises, as well as graphic images of the circumcision procedure. These images are intended for educational purposes only, but some viewers may find them offensive or disturbing. Viewer discretion is advised.

Part Two:
The Psychology of Circumcision

Circumcision may be the missing piece of the American male psychological puzzle. Some men have discovered a connection between their circumcision and adult feelings related to sexuality, women, self-esteem, and other issues. Part II will focus on the short and long-term effects of circumcision and psychological impacts on individuals and society. Participants will learn that circumcision not only impacts a man’s sexuality and male/female relationships, but also interferes with breastfeeding and maternal/infant bonding. These lectures will be of particular interest to those who work with men’s issues, women who want to understand men better, and healthcare professionals who are concerned about preserving the motherbaby relationship.

Part Three:
Cultural and Economic Underpinnings

Part III will explore the cultural and economic underpinnings of the practice of circumcision. What are the origins of this cultural practice? Why do non-observant Jews engage in this practice? Why does infant male circumcision persist in North America, while all other English-speaking nations have either fully abandoned or sharply curtailed it? What bioethical issues does the practice of circumcision raise? What economic issues sustain this practice, especially in the USA? This part will end with a discussion of growing objections to circumcision within the Jewish population in the United States and in Israel.

Part Four:
Effecting Change
(A Supplemental Program for Intactivists)

Over the years, many activist templates have been developed in successful campaigns to influence social policy and public opinion. One of the most successful templates has been developed and utilized by James S. Turner, Esq. , one of the original Nader’s Raiders and author of The Chemical Feast: The Nader Report on Food Protection at the Food and Drug Administration (1970) , an example of the template, and Making Your Own Baby Food (1977), an integrated muckraking and activist self-help book for parents that draws on the template. The many successes that Jim has been involved in include passage of the Organic Food Protection Act of 1990, a four-year campaign on the dangers of artificial sweeteners (Nutrasweet, Saccharin, Aspartame, and Splenda), and the campaign to block Swine Flu vaccination (1976). He also led the legal and scientific team that persuaded the FDA to reclassify acupuncture needles as safe and effective for legal U.S. importation and distribution (1996).

Through these workshops, you will recognize that there are habitual structures in society which limit our ability to be effective, and there are additional structures - often, if not usually overlooked -which will enhance and empower effectiveness if we are congruent with their bedrock reality. Explore the basis of and learn to use this activist template, the backbone of successful campaigns that resulted in intentional, positive social change.

eyebright herb for inflamed foreskins?

hi folks. I'm female, a pretty skilled home herbali practitioner planning to go professional (naturopathic medicine) and have only raised a daughter, so this is an idea I haven;t personally put into practice. but has anyone ever used eyebroght herb, say in a sitz bath or one of the James Green-style slightly hilarious-sounding/looking penis soaks say, for a child, or an adult, male with inlamation unferr the foreskin?

hgere's my logic...eyebright is about the most effective herb I know of to treat conjuntivitisd, or pinkeye. it;s also used as an internal remedy for respiratory allergiess...really buts down on inflammation and soothes irritated tissue marvelously. the basic process is making an herbal tea-type infusion with the herb (which is only available ground, at elast in California, because we have laws about "invasive" herbs that might reseed here...kind of stupid I think, but anyway) in boiled warer and when it is tolerably cooled, yolu take a compress soaked in the brewed infusion and apply it to the eyes. and other bathwater suggestions (some of my friends and acquaintances have had good success with bathing a little boy with an inflamed glans in water with some baking soda added, which makes sense as baking soda, sodium hydrogen carbonate, is an
amp[hoteric" tha can neutralize a pH that is eitehr too acidic OR too alkaline...I did learn SOMETHING in chemistry class after all!.

berbal writer Joy Gardner recommends a powder, used like baby powder jsut sprinkled on (pof course don;t force a rertraction!) of golden seal or Oregon grape root, and slippery elm bark. I suggested other soothing sitz bath herbs such as conmfrey root, chamomile flower, and mallow root.

anyway, the eyebright is something I just came up with, and wondered if anyone knows more about it?

Circumcision rates are falling all over the USA.
The national average recorded rate for neonatal circumcision in the USA has indeed been falling over recent years, but nearly all of this fall can be accounted for from the two States of California and Florida where the large Hispanic population has been growing rapidly. This group of people come from a less developed culture where circumcision had not been routinely available. It is expected that, as happened in the past with other immigrant groups, second or third generation families will see the benefits of circumcision and adopt it for their sons.

Hi all! I'm new here so forgive me if this topic has already been exhausted...

For a long time I thought that non-circumcised penises looked, well...funny. I rarely ever saw images of them because they seem so damn uncommon. Every porn I'd ever seen had featured nip-tucked waxed-smooth specimens of the male image, near every guy I'd ever been with (save for my current love and one single other fleeting interest) had been victims of infant mutilation, and almost all American adult humor imagery forgoes foreskin.

Now that I'm seriously involved with someone anatomically complete (as I like to refer to it) my feelings have changed. At first I thought it was very strange, and I was honest about it. Even he feels self-conscious about the way it looks (generally). I've realized, however, that now that I'm so much more used to seeing the WHOLE thing, it looks so much more...right. I've always been one to admire the natural beauty of the feminine form over the male (not so say men aren't beautiful, it's just a preference), but I've caught myself staring at it before whilst we lounge naked playing video games and surfing the web - not in an intentionally rude or invasive way, but because I truly take pleasure in the aesthetic appeal of a complete penis (of course it helps that it's attached to the man I love, but that's not really the point). I've even found myself experiencing the same "weird" feelings when I view a circumcised penis that I used to feel viewing the opposite.

you know, i came to this tribe with an honest question, looking for some sound advice from people whom i thought might be more "in the know" than i. get a quick answer & some knowledge thrown my way from people with whom i share a fierce opinion: that medically unnecessary circumcision of our boys & girls is wrong wrong wrong.

what did i get? well, with the sole exception of fixit fox's understanding reply, i got a bunch of snarky, defensive comments & an accusation of being innapropriate with my son. i also got called a "sick-o". (did i spell it right this time, asshole?)

if this is the current face of intactivism, then our shared cause is doomed. some oblivious, neutral pregnant mom is gonna wander in here, read how people react when sought for knowledge & become soured on the whole idea. good job.

do you know who has the power to erradicate circumcision? mothers & fathers. i'm a mother. i come from a long line of enlightened mothers who chose not to have their sons' penises cut. four generations back (as far as i know, maybe longer), including my grandfather, my uncle, my brother & my son are all intact men. we who spit in the face of medical standards are your fucking heroes.

so show me just a little respect next time i ask a question. i've never had a son before, so this is all new to me. if you can manage not to snicker at my naivety, i promise to pass on all of my newfound wisdom to anyone who asks me the same questions someday.

That's in six DAYS. An article about Ann Coulter is #2 but it's been up
almost six MONTHS. #1 has been up for almost a year. We're more than half way
there to overtake both of them for the half-year, and #2 for the whole year.

There are some big online debates going on about the Rights of Boys to be left unharmed.

The first debate is in response to a newspaper article that one of our dear Intactivist friends Van Lewis sent to the Salem News and God bless their hearts, they printed it.

Already half a year ago newspaper articles and letters that made it across the world via the Internet brought Misha's case to countless people's attention.

For all who have not heard about it yet, here is his story in a few words. Misha's father wants to convert to Judaism and now he thinks he has the right to cut his son's genitals. Misha is scared and already lives for months through a trauma of ongoing fear as he does not want to be circumcised. His mother tries to protect him and thanks to our friend John Geisheker, an attorney from Doctors Opposing Circumcison, the case made it so far to the Oregon Supreme Court.

And here is what I tried to send to the justices of the Supreme Court but they only accept evidence from the participating parties and so I will try to post this in these debates.

The world is expecting that Misha will stay unharmed and be protected by the justice system.

Bless everybody's heart for defending this boy and be condemned those who dare to mutilate this boy’s penis. Do we really live in a world where religious believes and money prevail over the most basic human rights, love and safety of children?

May the Wrath of God finally come down on all genital mutilators or circumcisers in form of extremely outraged and very angry people, by the new fighters for children’s rights, by the new fighters for justice and the new fighters for love; may all circumcisers be punished for their cruelties if they don’t stop them now; all who still think they can do it, all who still promote and allow this crime of all crimes and all who still deceive parents with medical lies so they can profit from this crime or those who use the word God to sexually oppress and enslave people! Circumcision is a sex crime. Strapping a boy or anybody down and attacking that person’s genitals with knives and special pain enhancing torture clamps is sick and sadistic rape. Mutilating anybody's healthy and wondrous body parts is a crime against anybody’s human rights so why wouldn’t it be against the human rights of baby boys? Why do we even have this discussion? It should be self understood. How blinded have we been until this finally and luckily came up for debate? How come this crime of all crimes could actually exist for such a long time? Circumcision was only possible because of those who are actually able to perform such sickening brutality on a helpless crying child; those inhuman and compassionless entities in disguise; those who constantly come up with new lies to deceive parents with soft and slimy words; those who hold the knives and use them purposely on children’s centers of love to separate us from the angelic beings we are supposed to be. They had us under control throughout history and they never thought we would dare to stand up against them because they used the most effective way to enslave us by injecting subconscious fear into us by attacking our genitals so we would be obedient to them. We are healing and we are loosing all our fear of them now as we now know what made us so obedient that we even delivered our most loved ones to their knives. We are finally recognizing who they are and what they did to us. Let us join together and catapult them out of this universe forever. May they be condemned forever if they touch Misha’s or any other boys penis with their knives, scissors, scalpel or torture clamps! May they all be tortured as well here on earth and in hell! May the arch angel’s sword of eternal justice take their evil heads off and catapult them into hell forever if they dare to hurt this boy or any other child in future! May they know that we will not rest until they are brought to God’s eternal justice! May they wish they never were born if they brutalize just one more child!

How could anybody ever even just consider performing this worst and most disguised sexual crime on children? What kind of world is this where it now depends on money if a boy will have an intact body or not, if he will stay unharmed or not, if he will be tortured on his genitals or not, if he will be allowed to keep his natural and healthy penis the way it was created by God, if he will be able to be happy to spread love or if he instead has to live through a trauma of pain and psychological despair that only spreads more hate and fear and that is obviously performed by the sickest of the sick who inflict sexual pain instead of love on children?

Is a judge really a neutral judge if he accepts the norms he crew up in and therefore disregards human rights, kindness and love, if he goes by the books written by unconscious law makers who also grew up in an unconscious and cruel world of the circumcisers? Can parents really decide over the bodies of their children, in fact can anybody decide over someone else’s body if there is no and never has been a true medical need to do this sex and love mutilating crime called circumcision on so many helpless children?

Can we obey any law if the lawmakers don't respect the most basic human rights of children and if they ignore the equal rights of the genders as manifested in the 14th Amendment of the American Constitution? The law of the 14th Amendment has been broken 10 years ago when the law makers passed a new law that would protect girls from this cruelty but ignored the equal rights of the boys or transgender children born into this world (Paragraph 18USC116).

What gives adults or judges the right to make decisions over someone else's body, to decide if a functional and wonderful piece of a NOT CONSENTING boy's or girl's genitals or healthy flesh will be cut off? Nobody can consent to have someone else’s body parts destroyed even if it is written in a dusty book that ignores the true meaning of consent.

If anything happens to this frightened boy, I know we all will get outrageously angry. In the eyes of the growing number of people with this new expanded consciousness and in the eye of God the perpetrators of this new people’s law will be seen as cruel child molesters, child torturers and child mutilators. The time is coming near where they all will be trialed by God and the people. We, the people who have had it with this cruelest form of child abuse are uniting all over the world now and we will stop this insanity forever so our children can grow up with love instead of hate and fear and we, the ones who fight for their rights, will not be sickened in our stomachs anymore as we won’t have to witness this sickening ritual performed on children! Look at the world today; all circumcising nations who are also victims of genital mutilation are still at war with each other. Circumcision is war and terror performed on children. It is known to us now, that governments that won't pass laws against this crime have a secret interest in enslaving men, to make them fear the other and to make them obedient.

Those who make others unhappy will be the unhappy ones in the end. Our worldwide movement to protect our children from this perverted genital mutilating crime can not be stopped anymore!

Can you imagine what fear and terror this poor 12 year old boy is going through right now? He is not stupid and he knows what is going on. He is terrified of loosing his penis the way he knows it and the way he loves it!

If anybody decides against this boy, God will not forgive them! All circumcisers should be aware, the longer this disgusting cruelty is being promoted and executed by them, the more furious we all get. The new uniting fighters for love and justice, the enormous growing number of defenders of children all around this world are organizing the resistance now! God and the Higher Spirits are with us!

Time to wake up is now!

Everybody, Intactivists or just human beings with a heart for our lovely baby boys, let's put an end to that ugly circumcision crime now, please join the debates.

Hey guys, I was wondering why anyone might know why so many folks seem to behave as though we "intactivists" are the most disgusting perverts on the planet earth?! My own mother, when I said that I did *not* want to be circed, because of what was amputated (gee, think of the reaction if we called it "amputation?!), such as sexual nerve endings and loss in sensitivity and certain forms of sexual disfunction, etc. looked at me like I was the most sickening person she'd ever met in her life!

Moreover, why, when a son goes to his parent (usually their mother) and say that he did NOT want to be circed, or doesn't feel like "real man" becauyse of it, do they become offended and deeply resentful? I mean, my own mom (and others) have gotten PISSED. Sadly, despite the info. they have had, they still (why?) claim that they would do it again!

needing some support for my son

hi, i just joined this tribe and i apologize if this is not the right place for this post.

so, my son will be four next week. about six months ago, his papa (we are not together any longer) tells me that he took our son to the doctor and was prescribed this white cream to apply on his red penis. at this time, he was advised to start pulling back the foreskin everyday to help with the retracting process. papa was circumcised after being birthed and is new to this world of intact penises as i am. i did not know to retract our son's penis so it has been happening half the week (we have joint custody).

on tuesday, my son went to the hospital with his papa and it was discovered he has an infection under his foreskin. it looks like a hard, white bump like an absess. he was told to buy polysporin and apply it twice a day until an uroligist (sp?) appointment is made. this doctor at the hospital did not know what it was, only saying it is an infection. my son's papa called me frantic saying the infection is because the right side of his foreskin does not retract fully and that is why he has the infection... that he will keep getting infections until he has to be circumcised.

while waiting for the uroligist appointment, i am trying to research as much as i can. i have this great fear that they will push having him circumcised as the 'easy' solution. in the meantime, i am reluctantly putting the polysporin on his penis (i like the natural route and am not a fan of antibiotics) and putting drops of black tea from a steeped tea bag on the foreskin (friend recommended this for soothing and help with infection).

i am asking for any support around helping the infection and info that i can take with me to the doctor's appointment.

he's a psychologist who chairs the Circumcision Respurce Center in
Boston. the book is relatively short (134 pages in a paperback
including an index and some great addpeices, including alternative
rites for baby blessing for boys AND girls) but quite thorough and
very readable. chapters include origins and background of jewish
ritual circumcision, asumed benefits and understated risks, ,
unrecognized (or underrecognized) consequences, , many types of
personal experience, and s chapter onconflicts and questions. many
interviews and quotes appear in the bok, including those from several
thoughtful rabis who have serious midgivings about the tradition of
ritual circumcision. another appendix includes transcipts from
Tikkun Jewish Renewal conference in New York in 1994, where several
conference participants joined a discussion following a presentation
about circumcision and reasons against it by the book's author.

this book as a valuable addition to any health activist'slibrary,
especailly one woh is working with his/her own jewish roots or who
wants to communicate well and compassionately with those who ARE
jewish and feel conflicted about "the covenant" as they understand
it.

in my own experience, there is a real need for something FROm someone
who is proud of his or her jewish heritage who can speak hnestly and
clearly about why not to circumcise. Dr. Goldman fills this niche
wonderfully, and I'm grateful for his book wonder if an update is in
the works? pubication date was 1998..)

Letter to my "doctor"

Here is my first draft. Feedback would be appreciated. Is anyone aware of any organized letter writing campaigns directed towards doctors? Can spot the gramatical error that MS Word found in this sentence: "The practice of circumcision cannot be rationally defended by any thinking or feeling human being."?

Dear doctor Moon:

I will try to remain civil here, but in the past I have felt a strong desire that grave misfortune would befall you. When I was but a helpless infant of several days, you stole something of inestimable value from me. I am talking about my foreskin. For the next generation of boys, I earnestly hope that you have seen the error of your ways and have began to make amends for acts that you have committed in the past. If not, I hope that I can help to show you the light.
The practice of circumcision cannot be rationally defended by any thinking or feeling human being. This goes beyond negligence and into the realm of institutionalized abuse. I will not go into the drawbacks of circumcision in great deal here, as they have been clearly spelled out in many documents. It is commonly expressed that the rationalization for circumcision is somewhat akin to the logic of cutting off one’s hand so one will not get frostbite. However, this analogy is not entirely accurate, as medical problems caused by the foreskin are much less common than frostbite. On the other hand, unsubstantiated claims have been made that circumcision will help to reduce the risk of HIV infection. Just as wearing gloves will substantially reduce the risk of frostbite, wearing a condom will substantially reduce the risk of contracting HIV. Both are simple to do and do not necessitate the removal of an important part of the body. Other likely consequences of circumcision include psychological problems such as impoverished self-esteem, rage, distrust, and resentment. Circumcision inevitably causes sexual problems, but the extent of these problems is difficult to discern, as the routine practice of neonatal circumcision in the United States conveniently gives many men no standard for comparison. Adult men who were circumcised later in life and women who have had both circumcised and intact partners usually claim that much is lost when the foreskin is removed. Other consequences of circumcision are cosmetic. Any claims that a circumcised penis is more attractive are obviously highly influenced by normative and cultural factors. Personally, I find the denuded penis to appear sickly.
My mother says that I urinated on you during the “procedure”. This causes me a modicum of satisfaction, but I had considered seeking further justice through legal means. I have decided against this course of action for the present time, but I wholeheartedly hope that you will give this matter serious thought.

Finally admitted to myself that I was mutilated (At age 25)

Most of this was posted on another tribe. Just found this one.
I'm sure that you all will think that I have been living under a rock. The information was out there but I chose not too seek it out because I didn't want to know the truth. I have just discovered that I am a circumcision victim. I thought that the foreskin was the skin surrounding the glans. So I am disfigured and handicapped.
The bottom line is that this was an act of abuse and it was commited without my consent. I really don't see how we can call ourselves "free" or "civilized" while this goes on. The "religious freedom" argument is a bunch of bullshit, but it seems to me that this is a large factor that contributes to the perpetuation of this barabaric act. Nobody wants to be accused of anti semitism. I have nothing against somebody if that is their ethnic background, but monothesitic religions are the source of the majority of the world's misfortune and they are all evil (of course there is a small minoritiy amongst the faithful who do not cause harm and may actually benifit from some of their beliefs). Another factor which keeps this issue hidden is shame. Any circumcized man who thinks that he hasn't been ripped off is kidding himself.
I think that it is fucking sick. I always found the idea of plastic surgery nauseating and disturbing. I thought "how can you look at yourself in the mirror thinking that this is not really you?". Well, I was cosmetically altered against my will. Plastic surgery never makes people look better. It just makes them look freakish and unnatural. After finding out (admitting), I couldn't even look at my penus or touch it for several days. I have been permanently severed from the natural world. An attempt was made to make me into some sort of cyborg automaton, not interested in human pleasures, only work and war. This is completely Orwellian. For the most part, the issue can't even be raised. I certainly wasn't comfortable talking to anybody about it. I do actually feel that I have a sex drive that is more healthy than normal and like the appearance of my body overall, but to claim that there will not be consequences from genital mutilation is ridiculous. There are always consequences. That is the whole point. The clearly stated goal in the victorian era was to diminish pleasure. All the proposed benifits of circumcision are completely false or based on false pretences. If people want to be circumcized, they should make the decision as adults when they can decide for themselves. Adult circumcisions are also much less harmfull, as the penus is at least allowed to develop naturally.
I always thought to myself "what a poorly designed peice of equipment". I had always had several important complaints about the appearance and function of my penus. To find out that all of this could have been avoided and that I could have had enjoyed a level of sexual function and satisfaction equal to that experienced by a woman fills me with extreme rage (actually I think the fact that it makes me less able to please a woman makes me even more angry). Another serious functional consequence is being unable to masturbate without a lubricant.
The trauma caused by these revealtions was absolutely horrific. Nobody should have to go through that. THIS NEEDS TO STOP NOW! THIS IS NOT A FUCKING JOKE! THIS IS AN EXTREMELY SERIOUS ISSUE! WE ARE TALKING ABOUT SYSTEMATIC SEXUAL AND EMOTIONAL ABUSE OF CHILDREN!
I can say without exaggeration that this realization was the most traumatic experience of my life. It felt like a physical attack. I was crying and wimpering like a frightened animal.

Venting

I was overhearing some women talking in a restaurant about how one of their boyfriends is not circumsized, and the other one shouted out loud "Eww!".

What is with people? This just starts making me feel self concious about dating. Even my ex girlfriend over many years was trying to get me to get my penis snipped. WTF?? If I didn't have it done by now, it isn't gonna happen. The idea of a doctor getting anything sharp near my soldier is just sick.

I am glad that groups like this exist. Good to vent.

How do you convey your passion to someone who is hell bent against it?

I just had a discussion with my sister, who is expecting a boy in April.
I am a mother of an uncircumsized son.

I gave her the article Brad posted re: Why Empowered Women Choose Not to Circumsize.
She wouldn't read it because of the title. Her husband is circumsized. In the past she said (so disturbingly nonchalantly), that he (their baby to be) is getting snipped, because his daddy is. She's unwilling to share her reasons because she feels it's a "personal matter" and basically, she chooses not to.

She said her husband would be pissed ... to hear what I was saying.
Basically, I was just stating the facts, and the history of circumcision.
I welcomed his response but the reality is, I doubt he'd ever take a stance against my opinion, even if he felt it was right. He's not that type & she basically wears the pants.

I am so utterly frustrated ... because I have tried to approach the situation delicately, knowing her stance but tonight, I just couldn't refrain. My time is limited - like 7 weeksish.

I just need to feel sane again. I need the support of others who understand this craziness.

I mean, of ALL the decisions I have made in my life, this is the ONE decision (for my son) that I can truly stand behind because of the absolute ridiculousness of circumcision in the first place.

WHO Recommends Circumcision, Citing HIV Data

It looks like the ball is rolling on this latest pro-circumcision fad, despite serious flaws in the studies cited. I almost laughed at the silliness of choosing a Muslim country (where circumcision is common and where HIV infection is low) as an example of how circumcision can prevent the spread of HIV; given the laws and cultural systems that regulate sexual behavior in a strict, Muslim society, wouldn't there be other, more likely causes for the low HIV infection rate?

I hope someone who can clearly and rationally pick apart the pro-circumcision argument could get some air-time.

Healing: A Caveat on Circumcision as AIDS Prevention

The gist of the article is that circumcised men need to allow for sufficient time to heal before having unprotected sex.

The lead researcher says, "Once a man was fully healed, whether he was circumcised or not did not seem to change the likelihood that he would infect a regular sex partner."

So, I ask, why circumcise at all?

Well, the article has an answer:
"Three studies in Africa in the last year have shown that circumcision cuts a man’s chances of catching the virus by 50 percent or more."

I have yet to read or hear anything in the regular news media that even questions the methods or conclusions of those "three studies in Africa." It seems that those conclusions are being accepted without question.

Frankly, I find it very sad.

DETECTIVES are investigating the death of a seven-day-old baby after he
was circumcised.

Stunned relatives at the Jewish ceremony saw the toddler experience
breathing difficulties.

He was taken to hospital but died eight days later. A post mortem found
the infant died from cardiac arrest and oxygen starvation.

Police are to interview family members and the senior rabbi who performed
the operation at Golders Green Synagogue in North London. Concerns raised
by doctors treating the baby have led to the probe being led by Scotland
Yard's child abuse investigators.

Police and Home Office sources said the investigation was "highly unusual".

A Scotland Yard spokesman stated: "The death is being treated as
unexplained at this early stage."

The baby died two weeks ago at University College Hospital, Central London.

Circumcision of boys is an operation in which the foreskin is removed from
the penis. With small babies, local anaesthetic is often sufficient and
avoids the risks of a general anaesthetic.

Some people believe the skin is redundant and gets in the way of hygiene.

Others say it is a vital part of the male anatomy and should not be removed.

Judaism considers circumcision to be an important ritual. The operation is
usually performed by a mohel - a specialist in the procedure and its
rituals.

Many British mohels are doctors, rabbis or both. All have received
appropriate medical and religious training.

A spokesman for The United Synagogue, a membership of 35 orthodox
synagogues in Greater London, said: "We are awaiting the results of the
police enquiry and until then it would not be appropriate for us to
comment further."

and I hope as well as helping mistreated women, that this will also help promote the stop such traditional practices from even happening in the future.

This is a good cause, and I noticed they referred to circumcision as "barbaric" and "mutilation", which reminded me the "barbaric" practice of forcibly, without the owner's consent, and without medical necessity, that the removal of ANYONE's genital parts is "mutilation", and needs to be addressed worldwide.
I noticed that they could very easily change the gender of the testimonials and narration to apply to either sex, although having to change words like "clitoris" for "foreskin", and "Africa" for "America".
Ironically the percentages to the level of practice done to girls in African countries that they cite just happen to be similar to percentages done to boys in various American states.

I do feel it is excellent that an operation has been developed to restore the damage done to girls, just as I feel it is excellent that there is also a procedure to restore the damage done to boys, but it dismays me that a large number of citizens in the respective countries still think it's good to perform these crimes against children in the first place.

Please don't forget just like many Africans need to be educated, many Americans also need to be educated that mutilation of a child is wrong, no matter which sex!

Thwarting Natural Developement

I must say, all of these posts and replies truly prove one glaring fact to me. We are doomed to extinction because so few people care to be cognitive of reality! I am grateful for the 71 members of this tribe who try to educate the world about something that should be obvious to ALL reasonable people! With even minimal effort, simple care to be truthful should be of primary importance to all! It is not difficult to understand that slamming a newborn on the ground is a "wrong" act. Why then, is mutilation of it's genitalia so acceptable and condoned?. This simple glaring fact has me so confounded, that I see no good future for any of us, circumcised or not! By and large, our society ignores the basic respect for humanity by ignoring the simple fact that we are HIGHLY COMPLEX CREATURES and even rudimentary alteration can cause major problems with the entire organism!! With so much medical information, 99.9% of our society choses to turn their back on reality with gross negligence to prudent stuardship. Circumcision myths perpetuate a violent attitude upon the very fabric of human potential that may ultimately cause cockroaches to inherit the earth.
Very simply, penises develop slowly, as neural connections to the brain have a chance to establish critical links to emotion and personality. By interrupting this process, mental health is deviated from the normal chance to fully experince it's potential. Restoration can help rectify sensations of localized pleasure, but sadly, the worst damage has allready been inflicted., Even the lucky few of us that were spared this indignation have difficulty recognising this simple truth, so, we have one hell of a job ahead to stop the whole travesty! Good Luck in all your efforts! I have nearly been killed once by my activism, and expect it will happen again,

Do you really want your little boy to look like you?

I keep hearing the "we want him to look like his daddy" excuse when I talk to moms and dads about not circumcising their baking baby. Usually the dad stands by with this blank look on his face like he never heard the question while the mom defends the "look like dad" stance.

I just wonder, Dads, do you really want your son to look like you? Do you really want to take that 1 in 500 chance that your sons circumcision could result in permant issues, including amputation, the inability to reproduce (because there is no feeling), tight skin that causes constant pain, cut off 20,000 nerves....I could go on and on)

In all reality, how many of you dads plan on showing your son why his penis is different than yours? Are you also going to point out how much bigger it is and explain the hair? Are you going to explain your tattoo and your bald spot and get out the marker and razor so your son will "look like dad" - I doubt it.

I have come to the conclusion that this society is ant-like. We do not circ our boys for any other reason than we want to pass the heritage of mutilation on. A heritage that barely exhisted (see www.NOCIRC.org) and has become more popular as society comes up with more excuses for it (the latest lie states that circing prevents AIDS, yeah, right). And, the trend is reversing....less THAN 60% are circing....so who do you want you boy to be...the one with the mutilated penis...or the one left intact who has 20,000 more nerves, a thicker penis and the nessesities to make women go mad (the foreskin covers the head of the penis when having intercourse, retract upon entry, covers upon exit and prevents the penis from pulling out moisture.

So, before you decide you want to circ your boy for this reason...please take a moment to think it over and DO THE RESEARCH!

Oh...and the locker room....if you really want me to go there let me know. I have a lot of reasons why the locker room excuse is a scam as well.

It's no wonder this country has so many rapists,(victims of a bad circumcision), murderers,(traumtized by a bad circumcision), and corrupt politicians,(products of a BOTCHED circumcision!). We need to FACE the facts right where it counts! That's why I submitted the photo. Any comments?

Although these "public opinion" polls are utter bullcrap, I believe it's
important that parents-to-be that see the results from these polls will see
a resounding "NO: I will NOT cut/harm my baby!" as an indication that the
dropping rates in the US are NOT simply anti-circumcision propaganda!

Childhood male circumcision needs to be fought on a multiple front:

a.. Stop allowing it -- Follow legal channels to create new law(s)!
b.. Stop funding it -- Petition HMOs/PPOs and Medicaid to stop funding
it!
c.. Stop hiding it -- Express your anger about being circumcised against
your will publicly whenever possible!!

d.. Start fighting it! Lawsuits, lawsuits, lawsuits! Money is the ONLY
thing some unethical doctors will listen to!
e.. Start educating! Talk about circumcision at work (appropriately),
school, church and with neighbours!
f.. Start shouting! Get hears on radio/TV shows, on websites, take public
polls, put anti-circ stickers on your vehicles!
I completely understand it's embarrassing to talk about genital mutilation
with strangers, but there are ways to gently bring up the subject without
appearing to be a crazy person! Start slow and don't be aggressive. Allow
the person you're talking to to state their case, as they might have strong
feelings about it as well!

Thank you for your support for children to grow up complete, without
non-necessary surgical body modification/amputation!

It is ILLEGAL in the United States to circumcise girls. Therefore, according
to the 14th amendment, boys are guaranteed equal protection under the law.
One of the problems with that is that many people see female and male
circumcision as totally different things. Many people who view female
circumcision as barbaric, but view male circumcision as perfectly
acceptable.

A new Anti-Circumcision Charity with PR in Mind

I really appreciate all of the Anti-Circumcision groups out there that are raising awareness on the internet, but I just wonder what we need to do to get a non-profit out there making some money. I have sent suggestions to some groups (I have a dual B.S. in Marketing and Business) with no reply. I suppose I just see this topic as needing to be more public....like on a billboard when the mom and dad are on their way to the hospital or obgyn or in a parenting magazine...these can all implant doubt and redirect them to a site for more information...and I guarantee you one look at the video of a baby boy being circumcised and any good parent would change their mind about the whole thing....

Anyway...The reason I am questioning...

- I do not know of even one celebrity that supports intactivists

- I do not know of one company that supports education or restoration

- I do not know of any anti-circ org that receives regular amounts of money other than NOCIRC and I think they are barely getting by

- There are no anti-circ or intactivist charities listed on ebay where sellers can donate their money

- I have not ever seen a full-page ad in any parenting magazines

- There are no brochures included in the parenting packets you receive after your lamaze class

My point is that unless parents do the research, there is no much out there telling them to question this. I am seriously thinking about starting yet another charity organization so I can get these things done...what do you think?

The day I withdrew from "Nursing" School

I want to share with all of you an event that drew me into intactivism...
Back in 1996, I began an OB/GYN hospital clinical as a student nurse. One day, I was enlisted to attend a 'routine circumcision.' I did not realize how much that event would shatter the very foundation of a career choice made in ignorance. I appeared in the doorway of the circ room and saw the little newborn boy to whom I was 'assigned' for the day. 20 years old and not having kids of my own, I did not anticipate the lurching sensation that gripped my heart. Laying strapped down to a table, so small and new....pure and innocent...trusting...all alone...no defenses..., I walked toward the baby and wanted to grab him off the table and shelter him..to tell him that nobody would hurt him..
In walked the doctor...loud..obnoxious..joking with his assistant...as if he was about to perform a 10 minute oil change..not once did he talk to this little baby. Rather, he reached for his cold metal instruments..and then reached out for his object of mutilation...this sweet newborn's perfect unharmed penis. As I recall the screams of pain and terror.. his small lungs barely able to keep up with the cries..I turned in horror as I saw the doctor forcefully pull his foreskin around a metal object. Then came the knife..cut...cut..cut..
I stood next to the baby and said..you're almost done sweety..almost done...
There..done. Then came the words..as that son-of-a-bitch dangled the foreskin in midair.."anybody care to go fishing?"
My tongue lodged in my throat..I felt like I was about to vomit. I restrained myself..and my duty was to then take the infant back to the nursery for 'observation.' Here is where I realized I couldn't do it. I could not be a part of such a cold, sterile, out-of-touch medical model...Rather than observing, I cradled the infant...I held him and whispered comforting words as if he were my own...I'll never forget those new little eyes watch me as if in a haze...he knew I cared about him...he knew he was safe in my arms..he knew that I was going to take him to his mommy...but, deep in his little heart, at some level, I know he wondered where his mommy was.....while he lay there mutilated in what was supposed to be a safe and welcoming environment. I made a note in the chart and then caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror...my chest and face had broken out in purple splotches. My next thought? I can't do this...I refuse to do this...this is NOT for me. I took the baby to his mother..who was complaining about 'some pain' she was experiencing...I never addressed her pain because I left to go to my locker..I grabbed my belongings..and hoped that my rejection of this 'medical system' could serve as some type of redemption for the violation of that newborn that I cradled in my arms that day. The next day, I withdrew from nursing school...and never looked back.

Hi, just wanted to make a little post to introduce myself. The name's Cobra. I am a 35 yr old restored male. I have been restoring for almost 3 yrs and am getting close to considering myself done. As someone who now knows the difference between cut and intact, let me just say that it is disgusting what our country does to its male children. Most men might not know what they have lost to circumcision, but I know, and I pity any man who lives out his life without restoring and knowing what it feels like to be a real, whole man. Circumcision reduces sex to a colorless, two-dimensional counterfeit of what men (and women) should feel when they are expressing their love for one another. If you are already cut, you shouldn't even consider restoring. You should just start doing it now! If you have any opportunity to help prevent others from suffering this indignity, do whatever you can to make your views known. It warms my heart to see so many people taking up this cause! When I started restoring just three yrs ago, there was very little information about intactivism and restoration, and I proceeded on a leap of faith. I am so glad I did!

Canadian man had a heath-care-funded foreskin restoration

This past April, Vancouver BC resident Dr. Paul Tinari became the first Canadian man to have a heath-care-funded foreskin restoration. When he was eight years old, doctors at his school performed an operation without his consent. After years of painful erections, and frequent infections, Dr. Tinari -- with the support of his doctor and psychiatrist -- successfully sued, and as a result, the B.C. Ministry of Health paid for 90 per cent of the $12,000 operation. Dr. Tinari says he hopes that it will set a precedent for legal action that will eventually end the practice of infant circumcision all together.

last season they did an excellent episode about circumcision. They actually show the procedure on camera. It may be on 'youtube' or google video.

Judging from the Senators' responses to the proposed MGM Bill, one can recognize that they too are still tapping in the dark, they are still not aware about the psychological and physical damage that is caused when circumcision or this kind of torture and mutilation is performed on a child. I decided to write letters to them to shed some light onto this topic and to express the urgency for passing a law against this immense cruelty performed on our boys and children across the world. We may even be able to protect our children all across this planet in near future if we keep educating people everywhere and if we set a role model for the world. Remember the great saying: "NO CHILD WILL BE LEFT BEHIND!" Let's see how true that is when it comes to NOT CRUELLY RAPING, NOT TORTURING and NOT MUTILATING CHILDREN anymore! Hunting down the circumcisers around the world will be the only reason in future for sending our troops into foreign countries and this most likely will happen once we all get enlightened here at home in this beautiful country. I bet our troops would love to become the Guardian Angels of the children of this world and the enlightened politicians who help us to stop this insanity now will be celebrated as heroes by all the children in this now less cruel world. The government needs to hear from us now, they expect from us to form a grassroots movement and they are willing to educate themselves in this matter. We have to tell them everything we know about this cruel form of rape, torture and mutilation performed on helpless children. We have to expand their consciousness real fast so they will make the passing of the MGM Bill one of their top priorities. I think they should even DECLARE STATUS QUO TO BAN CIRCUMCISION OR THIS CRUELEST FORM OF RAPE, TORTURE AND MUTILATION ON OUR CHILDREN IMMEDIATELY once this message got through to them. Nothing makes more sense and nothing should be more important and I don’t know why we actually have to explain anything anymore! It actually feels absurd having to explain to a human being that nobody should inflict HARM, TORTURE AND MUTILATION on children or anybody, but I guess this EVIL DECEPTION OF CIRCUMCISION is still somehow rooted in many which did not have a chance yet to wake up or which heard about this new consciousness only the first time or those who have not been enlightened yet. To speed up their learning curve we have to educate them in this new topic and I have heard that they are actually happy to hear from us. I am someone who came across your response to the MGM Bill as posted on the Internet and I have something very important to say to you. Parts of your statements said the following:

(Here I either thanked them for whatever they said or I criticized them according to their individual responses. I realized that most of them were still not educated in this topic as a few even expressed an ancient, conservative and somehow very unconscious view. No matter what I did, I was a little angry about a few of them but I tried to be polite but truthful. I hope I did not upset any of them and I hope it will make them recognize that this incredible assault and atrocity performed on most American boys in the past and in present, which most likely includes them as well, has to be stopped immediately. As we all wake we realize that our boys and children across the world need to be protected now and not next year. I think they are willing to listen to us and that they will use their power to overrule the normal procedure of legislating laws in this extremely urgent case, which it is once you really start thinking about it and once it sinks in that circumcision is the most evil form of rape, torture and mutilation.)

Let me explain to you why MGM should NOT be seen as a CONTROVERSIAL issue ANYMORE, the three words speak for themselves.

Please forgive me for being so frank, but the time to protect our boys from this insanity is now.

We are working tirelessly for years now to bring this new consciousness to people via the Internet.

Everyone we talk to agrees with us that circumcision or GM is one of the cruelest forms of rape imaginable as it inflicts bodily harm or bloody injuries on defenseless children; it is not only mutilation but also torture.

The German translation for “Rape” is “Vergewaltigung”. This word expresses it all. “Gewalt” means force or power and "Vergewaltigung" means using force on someone who is in physical disadvantage and forced into a vulnerable position where he can not defend himself or he simply is overpowered by someone stronger. This is exactly what circumcisers do. They use the power of a grownup or more grownups to force their will and inflict injuries on a child or whoever they pick as a victim. Of course, it does not take much force to spread a newborn’s legs into a vulnerable position and to expose its genitals to the ones who want to do it harm. It just takes a little bit of force but it is force. Even just Velcro Straps are sufficient to keep its arms and legs from trying to protect its body. A nine year old boy needs already three brain damaged grownups to overpower him or to stop him from running away. A nonconsenting adult would probably have to be put in chains so one could safely rape, mutilate and torture his most sensitive part of his body especially when it is done without anesthetics.

What makes it so cruel and disgusting is that the person is unable to defend itself once it is overpowered and that they purposely inflict pain and irreversible injuries and scars for a lifetime. The next cruelty is the fact that they do not just tie them down to tickle them or to spank them just a little. Even just cutting a finger off would be less cruel than what they are doing. They purposely try to destroy your centers of love. I say centers because your penis or genitalia is the visible center and the invisible one is right in the center of your brain and it is called the joy, love and pleasure center. Those centers are connected and an extension of each other. When they cut or crush away these 30,000 erogenous and highly sensitive nerve endings on your genitalia your brain is missing those receptors of love forever. It will have to adjust itself somehow. When they inflict this horrendous pain in that part of your body that was given by God to give and receive love, your centers of love will have scars for life. Circumcision is brain surgery without having to open the skull. In the moment where you get raped like this, the love center, which was wisely designed by God to be in the center of your brain, sends lightning storms to all the other centers of your brain in the hope to get information about a way out of this helpless and extremely painful and humiliating situation. When this happens, unforeseeable damage can happen to your brain. The brain will create abnormal highways for neurons to flow between your love and your pain center and even between all the other centers; they are now all abnormally connected with each other and this alters your behavior and your whole life and it even alters the whole world we live in. The ancient evil or simply expressed the rival or opposite of God knew about this and it invented circumcision so we would hate and fear each other more than we would love each other.

No matter how you try to explain why we are so incredibly cruel to our children, this bloody circumcision or this mutilation of their love centers and this extremely perverted torture are the most evil things you can do to a child or anybody. We tell our children that we love them, but we teach them violence instead of love and we even deliver them to the penis butchers. How can you explain that? We must have been hypnotized by those who have this urge and secret interest to torture and mutilate our children.

Those who promote or execute this evil crime are servants of this evil and they come in endless disguises. They are masters of deception. When confronted, they will smile at you and lie the blue out of the sky as they always do or they will distract you with questions about God and your religion, they will tell you that they have to do it in order to show their gratitude to their God or they will tell you that God’s creations were imperfect and that they have to correct his mistakes or they will ignore you or in some cases they will give you an arrogant answer. If you are not extremely careful, they will deceive and blind you with smooth talk and smiles until you fall for them again.

I hope it dawns on you now that there should be no doubt in anybody who can think with an unharmed brain, that circumcision has to be banned from the surface of this planet now. Nothing should be controversial about this disgusting atrocity on our children anymore!

I want to ask you to open your heart, if you loved boys as much as you love girls, would you not allow anybody to do this cruelty to them anymore? It does not matter how many human rights organizations or how many people tell you to stop it, it is simply a decision of your heart that counts and if you make decisions from your heart the evil will not be able to get you.

Why does the government take this issue so light heartedly? Everybody seems to be in a sleeplike state; no urgency at all, those little boys can wait until it is convenient to approach this matter. Everything seems to be so much more important than passing a law for little boys not to be raped anymore. Why is that? Almost all of you seem to be so unconscious and deceived by this evil. I think that the government should know that we, the people are waking up faster than they are and we are losing our patience to wait for something to happen maybe next year.

There is a huge list posted on the Internet of known cases of poor children who lost their genitals or died as a result from this circumcision rape, torture and mutilation.
As you can imagine, the number of unknown cases is probably much higher. Is this list of murders and mutilations compelling enough for you to believe that it is necessary to have laws against this disgusting crime right now?

Why do so many of your colleagues still believe that boys don’t have the right to have their bodies kept intact?

Do they still believe that adults or politicians have the right to contribute to the torture and mutilation of helpless little boys?

What religious or cultural beliefs could be more important than the right of a person not to be harmed?

Don’t families, doctors, rabbis and others force their beliefs onto little boys if they circumcise them without asking them? Aren’t little boys members of families and societies which should have a voice about what happens to their genitals as well or shouldn't they actually be the only ones to decide? Well, little boys can’t really judge, why not just let them be the way they are born until they are big and strong and able to defend themselves?

I hope you are now a little bit more aware of what is happening in public concerning circumcision, the public pressure to stop this insanity grows every minute and a law should have been passed already 3000 years ago or whenever the first brain sick sadist came up with this idea of mutilating someone else’s love organs.

The Mayan calendar comes to an end in 2012. I see it as the end of human sacrifices. People are finally waking up and we, thousands of activists on the Internet make sure they will. This is the time of changes and expanded consciousness.

In North America alone about 3,300 boys still get brutally raped every day, every hour and minute there will be more. Every second counts.

Please let me tell you everything I know about circumcision and please let me express the extreme urgency in this matter. It may help you to see things with different eyes and you may even shift your priorities a little. Thank God you people passed laws in this country in 1996 to protect little girls from being sexually mutilated. That was an immense progress. Why did you exclude boys? Wouldn't you just love to save that little boy crying for help while the insane adults throw some money on him right before he gets circumcised? What good does this money do to him when the brain sick adults are steeling his favorite love toy from him forever? Wouldn't you just want to take a machine gun and kill all these bastards who hold down and brutally circumcise that other little boy screaming in brain damaging pain? I think I would. Wouldn't you just want to smack that grinning face showing off his torture instruments he uses on helpless baby boys’ penises? Wouldn’t you just want to skin these persons alive who just cut off the clit of this seven year old little girl? Do you think it is a healthy thing to do when that Rabbi sucks a freshly cut baby penis? Keep in mind that all this shit is usually done without anesthesia by those sadists so they get a bigger kick out of it. Shouldn’t we turn on all the horns and whistles and save these children immediately? Wouldn’t you want to become a strong ally in the fight against these horrendous crimes from now on after you have seen these pictures and after you heard what I had to say to you?

Once again, I want to let you know that people’s consciousness is rising fast. We now recognize circumcision as the most violent and inhuman crime, it is an atrocity against the most basic human rights; it is recognized as cruel and bloody rape and close to murder and in uncountable cases it is murder as you should know now. We, the people are waking up and we are getting outraged about this immense cruelty that was hidden from our eyes for so many centuries. If our politicians won’t help us, we will have to take matters into our own hands in near future. I was getting sick for days when I opened my eyes and informed myself about the reality behind circumcision. I came across pictures and documents describing this insanity. I felt humiliated and angry that I had to watch this and that this could actually happen in our society and anywhere else on this planet.

Children get tied down or restricted with overwhelming force by brain sick adults, arms and legs stretched apart, the circumcisers touch their genitals, cut or crush their foreskins or clitorises off and mutilate their centers of love for a life time. How blinded does one have to be not to see this as the cruelest and most disgusting RAPE, TORTURE AND MUTILATION imaginable?

If you do some painstaking research you will find out that everybody who promotes circumcision for medical reasons sneaks wrong data into their research results and ignores the fact that the foreskin actually has a very important function which could be compared with the function of an eyelid. Psychologically it is also a sanctuary of inner peace. All circumcisers use words of deception which are 180 degrees opposite of their true meaning. As for example these and similar words found on Rabbis’ web pages: "Briefly, a /Bris Milah,/ or ritual circumcision, is a wonderful beginning for a newborn boy." Or there was a web page that showed the whole medical procedure of circumcision. They showed a picture of a freshly cut bloody baby penis. The comment next to it was this: “And here he is, Jack in his WHOLE glory!” I capitalized the word whole. As you can see, these are blatant lies; they do not make any sense at all, but people fall for them. The circumcisers use them to deceive people and to create more excuses for continuing unpunished with this profitable and insane crime which is in my opinion nothing less than a disgusting ritual of carefully hidden or unconscious satanic worshiping. The bottom line is, no matter what medical or religious excuse they all come up with, nobody has the right to inflict pain and injuries on anybody and especially not on defenseless children who can not speak up for themselves. Nobody has the right to mutilate someone else’s body and nobody has the right to torture anybody. The individual’s right to have an intact body prevails over other individual’s rights to practice religions, ancient customs or whatever.

I have talked to many circumcised men and they were all upset that they had no voice to make their own decision as it was done to them when they were completely unable to defend themselves. Many were very angry and some even hated their parents.

Nobody, not even parents have the right to consent in the name of a child to unnecessary and damaging violations of its body and brain. It is only the child itself who has the right to consent and as it is unable to do so, it can not be done to it anymore; otherwise the real meaning of the word consent is changed, corrupted or misused.

Besides the horrifying pain of the circumcision (as you know now, often purposely performed without anesthetics so the psychological damage or injected fear is more effective); what about the psychological pain later in life when the boy sees penises with foreskins and he wants to have a foreskin as well? What about when he finds out that he has been irreversibly mutilated by someone who did not have the right to do this to him at all? It's the child's body; this body does not belong to a third party nor does it belong to the parents. Nobody has the right to administer rights to others or certain groups to do harm.

The circumcisers and promoters of this crime should know that we are warning them now. If they ignore us, we will put them on the list of perpetrators for the day when they are being arrested and brought to justice. We will keep a log of their actions by observing them and if they continue ignoring, contributing, advertising, promoting or executing this cruelty in spite of our warnings and peaceful efforts to stop them, they will be held responsible for rape and for purposely inflicting injuries and torture on defenseless children. It is every adult's responsibility to protect children. Circumcision or genital mutilation is not a normal thing to do; it is a disgusting and extremely cruel crime. We have to convince others not to do this to children anymore. Circumcision is barbaric; it is the ancient evil's trick to inject fear and to separate us from our ability to love each other. Instead of love we get subconscious revenge feelings which make us create enemies mostly on the other side of the fence even though these feelings were just caused by the ignorance of our own ancestors. One could even see it as the source of all evil; I even dare to say that brutally inflicting this pain in a child’s center of love is planting the seeds for war and terrorism in this child. Do you think it is a coincidence that all the nations who still are inflicting war and terror upon each other are all the nations who also mutilate their children’s love organs in such disgusting way? It is not a coincidence.

We are now able to find the truth as our eyes get opened by the Internet of truth. Any parent who has been informed and still has their child sexually mutilated contributes to the rape, torture and mutilation of another child. Anybody advising parents to have a child circumcised also contributes to the rape, torture and mutilation of a child. Any psychologist who says, it would be psychologically better for the child if it looked like his father or his school mates, does not know what he or she is talking about and they prove not knowing anything about real psychology or anything about the psychological and physical harm that happens to a child when circumcision or this form of painful and irreversible sexual violation is done to a child; they also are contributing to the rape, torture and mutilation of children. Any media promoting or portraying circumcision as a normal, harmless or somehow necessary thing to do contributes to the rape, torture and mutilation of children. Anybody spreading lies or any other kind of deception such as circumcision may reduce the risk for contracting AIDS is misleading and a danger for everybody and he contributes to the rape, torture and mutilation of children. Anybody who says circumcision is there to keep the penis cleaner has been misinformed. Urine is disinfecting and underneath the foreskin are certain enzymes present which fight off bacteria and viruses by dissolving their outer shell. The foreskin itself is also a protective cover for the sensitive glans and it keeps it moist and sensitive. It is also very easy to clean an intact penis and every boy enjoys cleaning it because it gives him pleasurable feelings to retract the foreskin and let the water flow over it. Penises of boys in very young age whose foreskin is still attached to the glans are basically maintenance free. By the way, the circumcisers forcefully tear the foreskin off the glans before they do their most barbaric cut or this even more sadistic crushing of this most sensitive love tissue. It is a burning pain in itself and it leaves the whole glans exposed without skin until it has healed.

Cutting away perfectly healthy tissue to prevent rare sicknesses is like amputating an arm so you can not lose it in an accident. Besides that, these sicknesses can be treated without amputating in most cases. So many children's lives have been ruined as they lost their genitals caused by surgical complications or infections caused by circumcision.

All circumcisers and promoters ignore the real will of God. God or nature did not give boys a foreskin or girls a clitoris so those sadists can have the pleasure to cut or crush it off. All circumcisers and anybody who contributes to this cruelty or lets it happen are guilty. Anybody who continues to shed blood in the name of God is raping children. Anybody who blinds little boys by making them believe that they have to have it done in order to become a man or anybody cutting off the clitorises of little girls to enslave them to men is a disgusting rapist as well. How blinded were we that we watched those perverts doing their heartless trade for all these years? How come we did not break each of those bastards’ arms yet? They should all be imprisoned immediately because as long as they are at large they inflict severe psychological and irreversible physical injuries on our children.

Right now we bring them the message in peace and if they don’t stop circumcising our children immediately, we will have to take on different measures. We will sue them one by one for rape and purposely inflicting injuries on children. We are all guilty if we continue to allow this cruelty to be performed. God did not want genital mutilation to happen and he lets us know now! There are no more excuses. We are getting the warnings and the time to wake up is now; governments who do not pass laws against this form of child rape will in future not count as governments anymore as they failed to protect our children; they are guilty as well for letting it happen. It is God, all the higher spirits and nature who are interfering now and it is us in all those organizations against circumcision who bring out the word.

We, the people, have the power and nature and the real God is with us. The real God can be found deep within your heart. We will be forgiven if we forgive the children now otherwise the Wrath of God may come down on all who don't help to stop this insanity and all who perform or ignore this cruel bloodshed on helpless children.

Now, since you know all this, I hope you will discuss this with all the other Senators now and you will all agree that we never should have allowed anybody to be so cruel to a child.

You will be remembered as the pioneers who changed history as we know it, you will be the ones who helped to create a more peaceful world where we all can be the angelic beings we are supposed to be. If we get reborn, we will never have to suffer through this most degrading form of humiliation and torture again, but we have to stop it now!

Once again I urge you, please make it your absolute priority and please do everything in your power to prevent this mindless torturing and mutilation of these completely helpless little creatures of God now.

Every 28 seconds a child arches its body in excruciating pain; it almost suffocates in its own vomit and finally falls into a coma called Circoma. Circumcision? What on earth does circumcision have to do with being an empowered woman?

The answer isn’t obvious. The two issues seem worlds apart, one having to do with an infant’s foreskin, and the other: you. Some of us seeking personal strength and empowerment in our lives may never have children, some already have, but the fact is that knowing the truth is empowering for any woman, or any man. How many times have I heard something similar to “If I had known, I never would have let them do it.” This statement is often times made, unfortunately, by the mothers of boys who have had complications, which sometimes need additional surgery to correct. Having the truth about circumcision can only lead to an empowered decision, should the occasion arise, or having an empowered position in your community. However, knowing why an empowered woman would choose not to circumcise goes beyond simple education, and into our strengths and weaknesses; and to see it we must examine also why nowadays we circumcise in the first place, even in the face of the truth.

So let’s start with the truth. Circumcision is unnecessary. You may be thinking “But they’ve been doing it for so long, and I’ve always heard that it’s cleaner.” The medical documents regarding circumcision in the United States date back to the late 1800’s and quote well-respected doctors saying that circumcision would, among many things, end masturbation and even cure insanity.

The hygiene issue wasn’t brought up until after those ideas were realized as false, or as a sort of afterthought. No one had, at that time, ever studied the foreskin, and claiming that it’s cleaner not to have it, is like claiming that it’s cleaner to remove your fingernails so that dirt cannot collect under them. As far as I know, fingers come into more contact with contaminants than the penis.

Since then, there have been many other excuses that take turns defending circumcision, and even today medical professionals are still debating the supposed benefits that include an implication of preventing STDs and penile cancer. Yet, the American Academy of Pediatrics has stated since the 1970’s that there is “no valid medical indication for circumcision”

Still others hold to the old assumed facts. In the face of professionals making opposite claims one can either study everything there is to be studied, or resort to common sense: If 85% of the world has natural genitals, and they don’t end up needing modification, perhaps what’s natural is safe. After all, women have many more folds of skin “down there” and we seem to do OK. Even in the face of an infection or other problems, the solution is NEVER amputation. There isn’t after all, a single body part that is free from an occasional problem. We don’t cut off our toes to prevent getting an ingrown toenail!

Circumcision is also extremely painful and inflicts damage; that’s what they WON’T tell you. The foreskin in infancy is attached to the head of the penis with a membrane called synechia that is similar to the membrane attaching your fingernail to your finger. The foreskin must therefore be torn from the head of the penis before it can be amputated. This would be like shoving a blunt metal probe under your fingernail.

The complications of circumcision arise from the risk of taking too much skin or accidentally cutting off other structures like shaft tissue or the glans (penis head), there’s a risk of infection and hemorrhage, as well as issues arising after the circumcision like skin bridges and chordee (bent penis). There have been many unfortunate instances where the infant suffers a loss of the entire penis or even death.

Though it isn’t well known, the foreskin is an essential part of the penis. The foreskin of an infant protects the glans from abrasion, and contains a tight ring of tissue at the end that keeps fecal matter and other debris from coming in contact with the urethral opening. Later in life, after the glans and foreskin separate, the gliding motion of the foreskin aids in smooth sexual intercourse. The average foreskin is also innervated with 10 to 20 thousand sexually responsive nerve endings.

Finally, we must consider the moral implications of removing a part of someone’s genitals by force. Whose body is it? Who should decide? Who has the right to remove a part of your genitals without asking? No one? Well, how nice for you. In the United States, female minors are protected from any kind of genital cutting by federal law, regardless of race or religion. According to the 14th amendment, everyone deserves equal protection under the law regardless of race, religion or SEX.

Most women in the United States have no experience with an intact penis. There is an underlying belief that it’s ‘gross’ or ‘dirty’. We generally don’t know that it has a function, and are told that circumcision is a good thing. Even as knowledge that circumcision isn’t medically necessary spreads and becomes more commonplace, we are still circumcising. Why? As a woman it is our instinct and our conscious desire to protect our children from any harm. Aside from our ignorance about the subject, what could be so strong that it is able to override this natural tendency? The reasons are the things that hold us down in other situations: the pressure to socially conform, avoiding conflict by allowing denial, and the inability to assert ourselves.

The need to be “normal” is a natural human instinct. That’s why teasing and ostracism are so effective. No one wants to feel like they’ve stepped over the boundaries of taboo. For many women, being seen as different is an unacceptable risk and she will conform to the perceived ‘norm’ to avoid it. Society used to punish those who were different with very severe consequences including death. Living in a more sophisticated and civilized society we no longer face anything as extreme as physical harm for stepping out of the norm, but the weight of social expectation is still too much for some women to handle. “That’s not the American way”, “He’ll be the only boy on the block”, “My parents won’t agree” or “I don’t want to be different” are things that she may worry about. It takes a confident and empowered woman to let go of any concerns about what others will think, or the desire to be like everyone else, in favor of doing what’s right. In fact, in these changing times the rate of circumcision is as low as 30% on the west coast, and possibly only 60% nationwide and dropping. Worrying about being different is becoming less of an issue for women and young boys. Not to mention that most of the world does not routinely circumcise male infants. Boys are more likely to face teasing from peers about things that are obvious at first sight, like clothes, or weight, and we accept this as a normal part of growing up.
A good way to avoid thinking about an uncomfortable topic, or having to make a tough decision is to simply ignore it, or believe something that allows you to dismiss it. This is generally something common with people who are stuck in a negative situation that cannot be changed, so that they don’t have to feel bad. Women who have already had their son circumcised would have to admit they were wrong if they accepted that circumcision is damaging or unnecessary. This plays a large role in circumcisions’ perpetuation. We don’t want to admit that we could have hurt our children, so we may even take it as far, in our subconscious defense, as insisting that it’s necessary and that it continue to prove we were right.

For those with the decision still in front of them, it may be easier to simply believe what we’ve always heard, and skip the argument altogether. Many simply don’t want to know the truth, because it would complicate their situation. Accepting myth at face value and denying yourself knowledge is like locking your own chains. It is allowing someone else to make your decisions for you. Being empowered means having the strength and the courage to stand against oppression, even if it comes from inside your own self. Refusing to deny is a difficult quality to obtain, because the one you’re fighting is yourself.

When a baby boy is born, or sometime before, a woman is faced with the question “will the baby be circumcised?” She must then deal with many pressures. If the baby’s father was circumcised, he may want the same for the child. Because it is an issue concerning the penis, a woman may feel that the decision isn’t hers to make, and even though she may not want to allow it, she will defer to the father. Perhaps the doctor has said that it is necessary. In the United States we trust that our doctors know all and are infallible. It may seem rude or insulting to go against what her doctor has suggested. Who supposes to know more than a doctor?

Even a woman’s faith may be questioned if circumcision is perceived as a religious necessity. She doesn’t want to appear as though she is going against her religion. All of these pressures may make a woman feel as though it’s not her place to interfere with the issue of circumcision, and she finds it difficult to assert herself feeling less than empowered. However, a mothers’ first job is to protect, because infants cannot speak for themselves, so circumcision most certainly is her business. Taking a stand against your mate, doctor, or religious peers is without a doubt a challenge. Again it takes a woman with strength and courage to overcome such situations.

An empowered woman is educated, refuses to believe myth, is strong, moral, and she stands up for herself and the defenseless; it takes all of these things to say no to circumcision. For those empowered women who aren’t faced with making this particular decision, they will have the same qualities: refuse to continue to be a catalyst for the perpetuation of a harmful practice against the defenseless.

Although a number of Australian jurisdictions have acted to outlaw female genital cutting, equal protection under the law has not yet been afforded to unconsenting minors who happen to be boys. In light of Marion's Case (Department of Health and Community Services v JWB and SMB (1992) 175 CLR 218), it is now evident that parents cannot provide legal consent for an irreversible, non-therapeutic circumcision. Moreover, there are no medical indications for neonatal circumcision (Australasian Association of Paediatric Surgeons, Guidelines for Circumcision (1996)). Consequently, enforced or involuntary circumcision must now be considered as an assault causing grievous bodily harm (genital mutilation). Legal action is long overdue in Australia to protect the physical and sexual integrity of male minors.

Introduction
Genital cutting of females, called circumcision or female genital mutilation, has raised outcries of horror. Proscribed by statute in New South Wales and Victoria, it is also illegal under general laws in most other States and many other jurisdictions.1 Female genital mutilation constitutes a common law assault.2 Any doctor who performs female genital mutilation in Australia, even with parental consent, or the consent of the female herself, is liable to prosecution, either under the legislation that specifically prohibits it in certain jurisdictions, or under the general assault provisions in common law.

Yet, to date, destructive genital cutting of males, called circumcision or male genital mutilation, has escaped concerted censure. Despite a continuing reduction over recent years, thousands of healthy Australian baby boys are circumcised annually. Medicare figures for 1997-1998 reveal almost 20,000 fee-for-service circumcisions on boys, excluding public patients and those outside the medical system.3 While rare in Scandinavia and Europe, circumcision also is common in North America. United Kingdom circumcision rates declined dramatically once it was no longer covered by the National Health Service. The United States rate has declined from 90 to 60 per cent in recent years. In Australia, circumcision surgery is still imposed on approximately 10 to 15 per cent of healthy boys.

The general rule in English criminal law, and reflected in other common law jurisdictions, is that any application of force, no matter how slight, is prima facie an assault. Consent serves as a defence to assaults that do not inflict actual bodily harm. Exceptions to the general prohibition on assaults causing bodily harm include medical treatment. Lord Templeman's remark in the House of Lords case of R v Brown (involving consensual sado-masochism) that ritual circumcision is lawful4 is much cited by circumcision advocates. Those who rely on Lord Templeman do not take adequate account of the difference between the ratio decidendi of a case and an obiter dictum. The English Law Commission did not cite Lord Templeman or any other case as authority. The legal effect of R v Brown and the English Law Commission's views has been analysed elsewhere.5

The Queensland Law Reform Commission, relying heavily on Department of Health and Community Services v JWB and SMB,6 noted:

``The circumcision procedure is invasive, irreversible and major. It involves the removal of an otherwise healthy organ part. It has serious attendant risks.''7
According to the Queensland Law Reform Commission:
``The common law operating in Queensland appears to be that if a young person is unable, through lack of maturity or other disability, to give effective consent to a proposed procedure and if the nature of the proposed treatment is invasive, irreversible and major surgery and for non-therapeutic purposes, then court approval is required... The basis of this attitude is the respect ... [for] ... an individual's bodily integrity ... unless there are immediate health benefits to a particular child from circumcision, it is unlikely that the procedure itself could be considered as therapeutic.''8
Is infant circumcision advantageous?
A variety of claims as to lack of pain, minimal risk, absence of harm, no ill-effect on pleasure and/or function, and so-called benefits from routine circumcision are frequently made. However, the burden of proof of substantiating these claims lies on those who would pick up a knife to amputate normal, healthy and functional anatomy (``he who avers, proves''). The medical evidence is that the claims made by circumcision advocates are controverted by the facts. Rationalisations for male genital cutting include claims about hygiene, prevention of genital cancers, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and of AIDS. However, overwhelming epidemiological evidence exists to the contrary. In its letter of 16 February 1996, representatives of the American Cancer Society stated unambiguously that circumcision should not be recommended for preventing penile or cervical cancer:
``The American Cancer Society does not consider routine circumcision to be a valid or effective measure to prevent such cancers... Research suggesting a pattern in the circumcision status of partners of women with cervical cancer is methodologically flawed, outdated, and has not been taken seriously in the medical community for decades... Penile cancer is an extremely rare condition, affecting one in 200,000 men... Perpetrating the mistaken belief that circumcision prevents cancer is inappropriate.''9
Furthermore, contrary to the claims of circumcision advocates, circumcision does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases such as AIDS. In fact, the United States has both the highest rate of routine circumcision and AIDS in the developed world.10 Moreover, UTIs occur in only 1 to 2 per cent of boys, and are conservatively treated with antibiotics. Phimosis, unless it is the result of balanitis xerotica obliterans, an extremely rare condition, cannot be diagnosed prior to puberty, and then is easily treated using cortisone ointment and gentle stretching.11 Circumcised men without the protection of a foreskin are at greater risk of many sexually transmitted diseases.12

Consequently, no national or international medical association in the modern industrialised world (including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Australian Medical Association, the Australian College of Paediatrics, the Australasian Association of Paediatric Surgeons, the British Medical Association, or the Canadian Paediatric Society)13 endorses routine infant circumcision. In March 1999 the American Academy of Pediatrics concluded that ``the data are not sufficient to recommend routine neonatal circumcision''.

Nevertheless, the most recent American Academy of Pediatrics position statement on male genital mutilation failed to reflect the weight of the medical literature as to the harm of circumcision from complications and otherwise, including the damage to bodily and functional genital integrity.14 The statement also seriously misstated the thrust of articles such as that by ×³ter,15 and provided a misleading summary of purported benefits by inflating them. Its suggestion that EMLA cream is an acceptable and effective local anaesthetic for infant circumcision disregarded the manufacturer's contraindications that it not be used on genital skin or mucosa, as well as studies showing that EMLA provides only minimal pain relief.16 Furthermore, the American Academy of Pediatrics statement provided no reasoned, or indeed any, argument for its assertion that ``it is legitimate for parents to take into account cultural, religious and ethnic traditions'', and thus to subject an infant to this amputation. There is clear medical evidence of adverse effects from the pain, significant complications, and inevitable prejudice to genital function. There are no clearly demonstrable medical benefits.

Disadvantages of circumcision
During circumcision, the baby's sensitive foreskin is crushed audibly, and the raw flesh is cut with scissors. In all neonatal circumcisions, forceps or other probes are inserted into the delicate foreskin, scraping, tearing apart and destroying the normal erogenous tissues of the child's sex organ. This causes considerable pain and leaves the raw glans open to infections, with any resultant scar tissue on the glans further compromising sexual sensitivity. Tearing the normal protective adhesions between the glans and foreskin resembles ripping a fingernail from the quick. If a clamping method is used, the foreskin is crushed over a bell-shaped device, to enable amputation.

Circumcision removes 50 per cent of penile skin and thousands of specialised nerve endings, fundamental to normal sexual response.17 The externalised glans and inner foreskin remnant become dried and skin-hardened (keratinised), further desensitising the penis, with progressive lifelong loss of sensation.18 Reduced sexual function and pleasure has been acknowledged for centuries, though circumcision proponents expediently deny this. Indeed, Maimonides wrote in the 12th century:

``The bodily injury caused to that organ is exactly that which is desired ... there is no doubt that circumcision weakens the power of sexual excitement.''19
Circumcision makes the achievement of orgasm more difficult, decreases its intensity, and impedes sexual satisfaction among circumcised men and their female partners, thereby reducing or constraining both male and female sexuality.20 Complications, including an estimated 229 deaths each year in the United States alone,21 range up to 55 per cent depending on the definition applied, and willingness to report complications fully and accurately (for example, meatal stenosis, urethral fistula, penile necrosis, accidental amputation of part or all of the glans, skin tags).22 Since genital integrity is always destroyed, and sexual function is always compromised, the true complication rate of circumcision is in reality 100 per cent.

One Australian paediatrician stated that he had seen two infant deaths during circumcision. ``That's rare, but not to the parents of the little kid that died.''23 In Texas, a five-year-old boy died following circumcision complications.24 In Miami a boy bled to death after circumcision.25 Yet another circumcision-related death recently occurred in Cleveland.26 Sometimes, the entire penis is lost, and several boys have undergone gender reassignment (often unacceptable to the victim) resulting from this tragedy.27 In Seattle, to save his life, one baby's penis was denuded, his scrotum completely removed, and his skin from his thighs up to his navel had to be excised to stop gangrene spreading from his circumcision wound.28 A British man suffered ``appalling injuries'' to his penis from an operation to repair the defects from his circumcision. The case was settled with payment in excess of Â£UK800,000.29

Circumcision causes behavioural and neurological changes, diminished self-esteem and body image, sexual deficits, and often lifelong circumcision-related stress.30 Many men see themselves as deformed or harmed by male genital mutilation, causing enduring psychological damage.31 Many circumcised men suffer ongoing symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder.32

Psychologically, circumcision may be perceived as aggression and castration, weakening the ego, disturbing sexual identification, and initiating regression, withdrawal and isolation. Some reported ``gender differences'' may arise from circumcision-induced behavioural changes.33

A 1997 infant circumcision pain study was abandoned because inflicting pain on unanaesthetised controls was deemed unethical.34 Circumcision traumatises infants, who have few pain-coping mechanisms.35 Pain may be blunted but not eliminated by local anaesthesia.36 Pain causes irreversible changes in the developing brain, heightening pain perception.37 Atrophy of non-stimulated neurons in the brain's pleasure centre follows severed erogenous sensory nerve endings.38 Circumcised boys react with greater pain intensity to immunisations six months after circumcision.39

Involuntary circumcision violates human rights
The case against circumcision of children was strengthened by Australia's 1990 ratification of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. Ratified by every country in the world except the United States and Somalia, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child safeguards the child's right to autonomy and bodily integrity - rights violated by neonatal male circumcision. Several Articles support the position that circumcision breaches fundamental human rights:
Article 19 provides that states shall take all appropriate measures ``to protect the child from all forms of physical or mental violence, injury or abuse, neglect or negligent treatment, maltreatment or exploitation, including sexual abuse, while in the care of parent(s), legal guardian(s) or any other person who has the care of the child''.
Article 24(3) urges ``abolishing traditional practices prejudicial to the health of children''.
Article 6(2) safeguards the survival and development of the child. Article 36 protects children against all forms of exploitation prejudicial to their welfare - a right violated when biotissue corporations use foreskins harvested from unconsenting defenceless infants - to produce profitable artificial skin products.40
Article 37(a) in part states:
``No child shall be subjected to torture or other cruel, inhumane or degrading treatment or punishment.''
The following human rights treaties applicable in Australia also prohibit male genital mutilation based on such critical rights as the right to bodily integrity, the right to freedom of religion, the right to the highest attainable standard of health, the right to protection against torture, and the right to equal protection:

Charter of the United Nations: Art 55(c);
International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights: Arts 7, 9, 18.3 and 24.1;
Universal Declaration of Human Rights: Arts 3, 5, 6, 7, 12 and 25(2);
Convention on the Rights of the Child: Arts 14.1, 14.3, 16, 24.1, 24.2, 34 and 37(b);
Convention Against Torture: Arts 2.1, 2.2, 4.1 and 4.2; and
Declaration Against Torture: Art 3.
Official acknowledgment of circumcision as a human rights violation is growing. Germany awarded political asylum to a Turkish man based on his fear of enforced circumcision:
``There may be ... no doubt that a circumcision which has taken place against the will of the person affected shows ... a violation of his physical and psychological integrity which is of significance to asylum.''41
Two United Nations reports recognise sexual assault on males, including circumcision, as torture and a violation of human rights.42

Discriminatory prohibition of female genital mutilation violates human rights
Countries which proscribe even the mildest forms of female circumcision - which may involve only a nick to the clitoris and/or excision of the female prepuce (Type 1) - but permit infant male circumcision - involving surgical amputation of the entire foreskin - are failing to provide equal protection of the right to bodily integrity for male minors. Laws against female genital mutilation, which do not simultaneously prohibit male genital mutilation, contravene principles of equal protection enshrined in human rights law. They directly conflict with Art 7 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which states:
``All are equal before the law and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection of the law. All are entitled to equal protection against any discrimination in violation of the Declaration and against any incitement to such discrimination.''
Likewise, these nations contravene Art 2 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Art 2 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and Arts 1(3), and 55(c) of the United Nations Charter. All United Nations members are bound by these and all Charter provisions. Therefore, a human rights violation occurs when males are not afforded protection from genital mutilation, a protection enjoyed by females. As in the United States, where litigation frequently challenges legislation that violates equal protection, Australian anti-discrimination legislation offers a potential weapon against male circumcision.

One frequent rationalisation for legislation addressing only female genital mutilation is the supposedly dramatic contrast in severity between female genital mutilation and male genital mutilation. However, circumcision removes a considerable area of erogenous penile skin (an area corresponding to 64 to 90 sq cm in adult males),43 causing significant damage. Human rights principles discourage the creation of hierarchies of rights and the ignoring of abuses which are placed lower in those hierarchies. Human rights principles are absolute, not subject to balancing in the scales of international justice relative to other violations. Interpretations of human rights law which recognise female genital mutilation but not male genital mutilation as violations infringe on equal protection principles enshrined in international law.

Medical attitudes
Given the serious harm caused by circumcision and the lack of medical justification, doctors should have profound reservations about performing destructive surgery that manifestly offends the Hippocratic Oath (``First Do No Harm''). The Australasian Association of Paediatric Surgeons concluded that there are no medical indications for neonatal circumcision, and that enforced circumcision is an affront to bodily integrity. Likewise, the Australian College of Paediatrics stated that ``routine circumcision may contravene human rights ... because circumcision is performed on a minor and without proven medical benefit''.44 The New South Wales Health Commission concluded that there is ``no valid medical indication for circumcision in the neonatal period''.45

The Nuffield Committee stated:

``Gratuitous injury, that is injury that is not undertaken in order to avoid destruction, damage or degradation, remains unacceptable. This point is sometimes blurred by an assumption that it is the therapeutic context which licenses what would otherwise be injury. In fact it is more precisely the therapeutic intent rather than the therapeutic context that justifies action that otherwise would be seen as injury... Gratuitous and in particular malicious injury of human beings, and specifically human tissue, will always be unacceptable, especially when inflicted in a therapeutic context... Treatment given by those who are medical practitioners will be acceptable only if guided by a therapeutic intention.''46
Notwithstanding this, some Australian medical doctors continue to benefit financially from Medicare's continued reimbursement of non-therapeutic genital cutting. Some are demonstrably vehement about continuing mutilation, raising questions as to their psychological motives.

Increasing numbers of medical personnel, however, have refused to participate in male genital mutilation, given its blatant violation of human rights. Some nurses have vowed not to participate, even if circumcision were somehow rendered painless, because it causes mutilation without the victim's informed consent.47

Cultural blindness
Like others, judges base their decisions in part on society's almost unconscious biases and cultural prejudices. Historically, various horrors have been overlooked by Australian authorities, including the genocide of Tasmanian Aborigines, the more or less routine sterilisation of allegedly mentally defective adolescent girls, and the patronising policies of former governments resulting in the great problem of the ``stolen generations''.

Cultural blindness worldwide has played a strong role in condoning body mutilation practices. While viewed with horror by other cultures, any mutilation is seen by the perpetrating culture as benign at worst; often it is misperceived as of positive benefit. Examples include footbinding, placing growing children in vases to shape their bones, and genital mutilation of both sexes.48

Growing resistance
Organised opposition to circumcision has been increasing dramatically in recent years, especially with the founding of the United States-based National Organisation to Halt the Abuse and Routine Mutilation of Males (NOHARMM). In 1993, an Australian branch of the National Organisation of Circumcision Information Resource Centres (NOCIRC) was formed with the aim of eradicating the continuing enforced circumcision of many unconsenting minors. Profession-specific organisations have been founded by physicians, nurses and lawyers, including Doctors Opposing Circumcision, Nurses for the Rights of the Child, and the United States-based Attorneys for the Rights of the Child which are all lobbying aggressively against involuntary circumcision. Pursuant to its avowed mission to help bring an end to all enforced genital cutting, Attorneys for the Rights of the Child are singling out hospitals and doctors who perform non-therapeutic circumcisions, demanding that they halt all non-medically indicated sexual surgeries on minors.

Legal actions
Every doctor has two legal duties: first, to act with reasonable care; and secondly, to obtain consent from the patient, except in a life-threatening medical emergency. Failure to obtain informed consent renders any bodily intrusion an assault. When circumcisions have resulted in litigation, the cases have been fought on the grounds of negligence or lack of informed consent.

In a 1987 New South Wales Supreme Court decision, $A27,500 damages were awarded for psychological harm caused by a negligently performed circumcision. In dismissing the defendant's appeal against the amount of the award, McHugh JA stated:

``In a society where sexuality is the subject of one of its dominant discourses, the plaintiff's perception of himself as sexually deformed and inadequate would ultimately force him to retreat from most, if not all, forms of social intercourse.''49
In December 1999, a Western Australian doctor agreed to pay $A360,000 plus legal costs for performing an unnecessary routine neonatal circumcision which caused permanent physical and sexual harm and resultant psychological trauma.50

Also, action has been based on lack of informed consent. In Alabama, a newborn was circumcised against his mother's wishes, resulting in a verdict of US$65,000, and a similar case in New York is currently the subject of litigation.51

The Australasian Association of Paediatric Surgeons has issued guidelines regarding consent.52 Parents should have explained to them inherent risks and possible complications, such as severe pain, meatal stenosis, penile necrosis, lifelong sexual dysfunction, brain damage, and even death. The Queensland Law Reform Commission has warned that parents should be informed of all arguments relating to circumcision several days before the destructive surgical amputation.53 It is highly unlikely that medical personnel comply with even this minimal mandate. This has very grave implications, as once the foreskin with its thousands of erogenous nerve endings and exquisitely sensitive frenulum has been severed, it can never be replaced. The infant victim has no say in the matter, and is forced to live with the adverse physical, reduced sexual, and psychological/post-traumatic stress disorder consequences for the remainder of his life.

Grave doubt exists whether parental consent to a routine circumcision has ever been truly informed. Medical doctors rarely provide full information of all complications which may follow circumcision, and some explicitly advocate non-therapeutic circumcision. The American Academy of Pediatrics has recommended that information conveyed to parents include: the provision of information, with explanations in understandable language, concerning the nature of the condition, the nature of the proposed ``treatment'', the possibility of success, the nature of the risks, and the potential benefits and risks of alternative treatment, including no treatment at all;

the assessment of parents' understanding of the information;
the assessment of parents' capacity to make the appropriate decision; and
the assessment that there is freedom of choice, without coercion or manipulation.
Compliance requires that full information be provided and that no pressure be placed on parents to assent to a circumcision. Doctors have a duty of care to inform parents fully of all risks and potential harmful effects. Failing to tell parents about the erogenous function of the foreskin is a serious act of omission. The minimum that doctors must tell parents is listed in the document entitled Informed Consent for Medically Necessary Circumcision.54 This document, drafted by Illinois medical practitioner Eileen Wayne, MD, not only outlines the erogenous function of the foreskin, but also draws attention to the extremely rare reasons for medically necessary circumcision (never applicable during infancy). It outlines the ``reasons'' advocated for medically unnecessary circumcision (most circumcisions are medically unnecessary); the anatomy and functions of the foreskin (including sexual pleasure, lubricating, and gliding action); circumcision procedures; curable foreskin conditions; risks of circumcision (both short-term and long-term); ethical and legal considerations of enforced circumcision on unconsenting minors; and, finally, signed permission forms. It is clear from this ethically conceived document that parents can never give legal consent for medically unnecessary circumcisions on children.

Even in the absence of legislation specifically banning circumcision, those who assist in the circumcision of a child without the patient's own fully informed consent are liable to prosecution. According to Price:

``Lawyers in common law jurisdictions (England, the United States, Canada and Australia) have expressed the view that ... non-therapeutic circumcision is, or at the very least is prima facie, a criminal assault ... there has been no rebuttal of that view.''55
The Queensland Law Reform Commission indicated that parents who permit medically unnecessary surgery that is invasive, irreversible and major (such as circumcision is) on an unconsenting minor may be liable.56 One authority on medical jurisprudence concluded:
``Once it is shown that a child has been subject to an injury to his sexual organ without medical integrity, a case may be made for enforcement of existing laws prohibiting assault and battery, conspiracy to assault and battery, child abuse, and sexual abuse.''57
Parents cannot consent to non-therapeutic medical procedures
Given international instruments and domestic common law principles and case law, grave doubt exists as to whether even a truly informed parent can consent to the non-therapeutic circumcision of a child.58 While English courts acknowledge parental views and religious beliefs, these can be overridden by the objective interests of the child.59

Under the Convention on the Rights of the Child, Art 12, any child capable of forming his or her own views has the right to express those views freely in all matters affecting him or her, and for those views to be given due weight in accordance with age and maturity. Newborn babies cannot express a view on whether they should be circumcised. Circumcising children removes their choice for all time. Notably, the Human Tissue Act 1983 (NSW) explicitly recognised the child's right to withhold consent for any proposed removal and transplantation of a child's tissue(s).60

Unless a medical procedure is necessary to preserve life or health, it should be postponed until the child is sufficiently mature to make a decision for himself or herself. If the child is incapable, because of intellectual disability, of making an informed decision, then under Marion's Case (involuntary hysterectomy of an intellectually handicapped 14-year-old girl), the consent of the Family Court or court exercising parens patriae jurisdiction, and in some cases a State or Territory statutory guardianship body, is necessary.61 Wherever proposed treatment is not unequivocally beneficial to the child, parental assent is insufficient.

The Bioethics Committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics emphasised that the power to consent to a procedure rests solely with patients:

``Only patients who have appropriate decisional capacity and legal empowerment can give their informed consent to medical care. In all other situations, parents or other surrogates provide informed permission for diagnosis and treatment of children with the assent of the child whenever appropriate.''62
They also concluded:
``Thus, `proxy consent' poses serious problems for pediatric health care providers. Such providers have legal and ethical duties to their child patients to render competent medical care based on what the patient needs, not what someone else expresses.''63
Conclusion
Reasons for concern about infant male circumcision under human rights principles include:
the loss of highly erogenous sexual tissue which also serves important protective functions;
the loss of bodily integrity;
traumatic and often highly painful disfigurement;
complications including death and the loss of the entire penis;64 and
the impermissibility of any mutilation of children's genitals performed with neither their consent nor medical justification.
No national or international medical association in the modern industrialised world, or indeed anywhere in the world, endorses routine circumcision of healthy boys.
Several human rights documents tacitly forbid enforced infant circumcision. Non-therapeutic circumcision of unconsenting minors amounts to culturally sanctioned physical and sexual abuse. No basis in international human rights law or domestic law justifies the discriminatory prohibition of only female genital mutilation.

``Ritual male circumcision is non-therapeutic and is not warranted or justified by medical evidence. This form of mutilation should not be legally distinguished from female circumcision ... presently being prohibited throughout Australia and the Western world. As ritual male circumcision is non-therapeutic, may be against public policy, and clearly is not in the best interests of the child, a parent's consent may be vitiated, leaving persons involved in the procedure liable in negligence, notwithstanding parental religious beliefs.''65
Non-therapeutic, invasive and irreversible major surgery, especially sexual reduction surgery on unconsenting minors, is unethical. The standard of care for infrequent events such as infections is antibiotics, not amputation. Circumcision of healthy male minors is useless and traumatic, causing severe and lasting harm physically, sexually and often psychologically. As medical ethicist Margaret Somerville pointed out:

``Moreover, neonatal circumcision is done without consent of the subject, removes healthy tissue with unique anatomical structure and function, and leads to differences in adult sexual behaviour... We need, therefore, to address the issue directly and end the persistent efforts to find a medical rationale for circumcision by removing the cloak of medicine from this procedure.66''
Enforced non-therapeutic genital cutting of unconsenting minors is overdue for recognition by the legal community as sexual mutilation.67 As we enter the 21st Century, appropriate legal action must be taken to safeguard the physical genital integrity of male children.

Francisco from July 30 to August 14, 2005. Its purpose is to produce

A Rock Opera against the worlds darkest evil, which is "unconsented" Circumcision

I am trying to get people together to create a Rock Opera with the hope to wake up people and show them what the real reasons are behind circumcision.
The Play is called: " Oh Boy, we love you but..."

Purpose of the Play:

We are entering a new Era. The Mayan Calendar comes to an end in 2012. So far we have been tested. We have less then seven years left to correct our mistakes. Some of us were able to wake up early and decide for Love, their judgments were the ones of the Saints. The mass however is sluggish, as they usually follow and imitate each other. They need some extra help to wake up to act out of their own heart not to be deceived by lies or the evil’s will. The evil found many weaknesses in you. It made you believe that certain things that are good are bad and some that are bad are good. It made you believe for a very long time that unconsented circumcision is good. It also made you fear Love and love fear. It’s as simple as this. Unconsented circumcision is the most hidden crime for thousands of years. What does unconsented mean? Consent means you are being asked if you want this to happen to your body and you are able to decide for yourself. Nobody in the whole world, not your parents, not a doctor, not a nurse, not a religious figure, simply nobody can decide over your body then You. It’s you and only you who can make the decision. You should not be influenced or forced by others in any way and in any time of your life.

Here I am referring to one of the scenes in the play: * This scene is to portrait a brutal circumcision which was one of the main tests to recognize as the origin of all evil. This is a crucial part in the play and is not for weak stomachs. I do not intend to alienate anybody, it is solely meant to open your heart and feel compassion with your own kind and every other innocent and helpless creature. As an artist I always tend to describe the essence and beauty of things, but art can not always be pretty to make a point. The purpose of this play is in the realm of the global consciousness movement happening right now with some heavenly help, to awaken people out of this sleeplike state of ignorance and fear. It is something that has to be said in a clear voice and the more people become aware of this insane brutality, the sooner this evil practice can be stopped and outlawed, so no one has to suffer through this atrocity and corruption of the most basic human rights ever again. We can show our love by actions against it and not by closing our eyes and just letting it happen. A little Baby is pure love and completely unable to object or consent against it or defend itself. The future Babies need the help of conscious grownups who can wake up other grownups which are still in a state of not knowing what the real purpose behind circumcision is and which are being misled by ancient lies or mentalities that put profits above the well being of man. Foreskins are actually being traded. The cosmetic industry pays trifling 24 bucks for a piece of human tissue the size of a quarter, but only if it’s not contaminated with anesthetic ointment. What about eye lids, I guess they would cut those off too, but they can’t do that, because then people would really wake up and stay awake. Can you believe that they mutilate your sex organs for 24 bucks and off course the operation itself will automatically be added to your hospital bill? I am not making this up; you may want to inform yourself. There are many sources on the internet. The newest trick is to have Hispanic people sign something that was not translated clearly or not translated at all. Result: They get there baby back with a few missing parts. There is a 25 million dollar lawsuit out right now. Well, foreskin hunting and penis butchering is a multi-million dollar busyness each year, I guess they can afford a few.

I know that many people reading this may have had this happen to them and I am not sure how you feel about reading this. It was routinely done in America for many years. Nobody questioned it; it turned into an epidemic as I see it. If this happened to you, I apologize for any disturbance and send you all my love, you are the heroes who had no choice and you were able to adjust to it, you can not remember but you lived through a trauma caused by unconscious people. You may agree that something has to be done and you can help to stop it. It has to be said some time; otherwise this insanity will keep us insane forever. I feel sorry for all the misled parents, we have to forgive them because they have been deceived and just did not know better and thought they did the right thing. A friend of mine apologized to his son and the son said, Dad, it’s ok, I have adjusted to it, but I would have liked if I could have decided for myself. I have talked to many circumcised men, one was devastated by it and hated his parents and all the others told me that it was done against their will and they would be more then happy if this would change. There is a movement called NOCIRC that may be able to help people who can’t get over it. http://www.nocirc.org

Just for the heck of it I looked up circumcision on Google and Yahoo Images. They came up with over 6000 pictures of this evil perverted trade. One picture showed a freshly cut bloody baby penis and the note next to it said: “And here he is, Jack in his WHOLE glory. I capitalized whole. Can you see the deception in these words? It is simply an outrageous lie. I saw a picture of a baby being cut fully awake, arms and legs strapped down to the operation (butcher or torture) table. They even invented a certain perverted clamp, which doesn’t even make a clean cut, but squeezes the love tissue off. I am sorry, this may make you sick, but we have to look the evil in the eye to ban it forever. I got sick in my stomach for about a week after the first few images, seriously, I was close to throwing up for three days. They described how it was recommended to do it without anesthesia so it is more effective. They described that the baby arcs its whole body and vomits from the pain and then finally falls into a coma. They even invented a word for this. It’s called Circoma. Mothers get their babies back apparently sleeping but actually in this coma and they are lied to. They don’t mention the word coma; they say it was all very pretty, the baby slept through the whole thing, if anybody opens his mouth they are risking to be fired. Yeah, doing it without anesthesia is just the tip of the iceberg, the evil's secret to introduce fear and obedience for a lifetime towards the authorities or their weird punishing god as I see it. The real God is only Love I understand. There was one web site where the perverts show all the steps of the procedure. Next to one of the pictures they said something like this: GENTLY lift up foreskin with hemostats, and then insert scissors. Well, what difference does it make if they lift it up gently or not if the next step is the most perverted and barbaric cut only one of the sickest brains could have come up with in the first place? Do they want to make you believe that they are gentle after all? Further down the page they give advice for post circumcision care. They tell you what to do to reduce the bleeding. Well, isn’t the best way to reduce the bleeding by not cutting and mutilating at all? How can loving parents allow this? How could all this happen in front of our eyes? We were hypnotized and deceived by this ancient evil which passed on fear instead of Love for thousands of years from generation to generation. We could not make decisions from our heart, we were not ourselves. We were lied to and we were conditioned to be afraid of Love and everything that had to do with it, we did not know that Love is the only thing there is to give us life and keep us alive.

Here is another example of how the evil deceives and brain washes us. The teen idol Michael Jackson gets criminalized for possibly touching a minor inappropriately. Whatever he might have done, it most likely was very gentle as he most likely wanted to experience something out of a missed childhood and feel innocent again. The mass media knows that stories like these can be turned into so called scandals, when blown up they can be fed to the mass like heroin to the junkies; they are big business for them as well as for the psychology and law industry. They ruthlessly add a little more emptiness and more fear about their own sexuality to all the teens in the world. Whatever he did or did not, it is nothing compared to those bastards who cut off perfectly healthy parts of minor’s genitals and mutilates them for life. Just get this into your head, this is what’s happening! Who is touching who inappropriately? Is it him or is it the most perverted sexual mutilators? Compared to them, Michael is rather a Saint. Nobody screams murder about them, oh no, damaged psyches are good for the bank accounts of many industries.

Wilhelm Reich describes circumcision as one of the main reasons why we are so messed up and why we are blocking our sexual area. A Baby has no defense against pain at all. After it falls into this coma, it retreats into itself and armors its sexual area for a lifetime and the Orgon or Life Energy is restricted in its flow. Subsequently they will fear sex and spread their fear about it. In general, people get righteous, aggressive and want to force their will onto others. The evil finally entrapped him for what he said and they put him into their evil jail. They burned all his latest books and he died in jail.

In the hierarchy of man it sets women below man, as the child subconsciously blames his mother first for letting this happen to him. This was another little secret that served the evil well. We are all the same and we feel the same, man, woman, child. We will experience Paradise once we open up to that. We don’t have to label anything anymore.

In general the victims of the circumcision crime subconsciously wanted to get even with this cruel world they experienced in the first few days of their life. It does not matter if they remember it or not. What that means for peace is rather obvious.

Who has still not found any peace in this world today? If you think about it, it’s all the nations who use circumcision to control and enslave people. Sexual oppression is the easiest way to control people as they loose the ability to believe in their most inner truth, their inner sanctuary of peace and love gets corrupted and they loose their believe in themselves. We are all circumcised, if not physically, then mentally! Are you wondering why we all were treated like criminals and felt like criminals when we got caught having a little innocent and divine sex as children? It will be like this until we wake up. The most divine acts of love have been degraded to be the adult’s favorite swear words. We grow up under the impression that our angelic bodies and our most pleasurable feelings are dirty and have to be hidden and we are filled with shame, we can not admit that we are all sexual beings who want to experience this divine joy and as a result of this deprivation we separate from our essence and unrestricted love and take on personalities far from what we really are. We are raised not to be ourselves. They feed us cigarettes to satisfy our most natural mammal instincts and they numb us with alcohol and materialism. They stimulate us with violence, they create criminals and they profit from crime. They make us untouchable and sell us more fear. They profit from artificial lubricants and they sell us porn. They create wars and hate. They are the ones who do not refuse executing this cruel procedure and misguide others. They are those who purposely forbid love for thousands of years and those who are so afraid and hypnotized by them that they don’t think for themselves nor believe their own gut feelings and unconsciously forbid love as well. Who are they? They are the ones who put themselves above God and mess with nature and perfection. They are the ones who became advocates of this ancient dark evil, whose secret has been unveiled; it is powerless as we all wake up. The Great Spirit created us perfectly. We may all be forgiven, but we have to stop hurting these innocent and helpless little Creatures of God Now and we have to stop hurting ourselves. Then, like the rest of the universe, we will be able to shift from Fear into Love for everybody.

Here is a Warning for the Circumcisers, Traders and Blinders: Circumcision will soon be seen in its true light. People are waking up and they will seek justice. The executers of this one of the most hidden violent crimes against humanity, which caused almost all the suffering on earth, better start hiding their records. They have one more chance to be forgiven now, as they most likely were victims themselves and just passed on this evil in order to get even or they were like everybody else in a sleeplike and hypnotized state. (((Snap!))) You are out! You received this message! However, if they don’t stop this evil trade immediately or as soon as our messages find their way to them, they may have to face criminal charges on earth in near future and they will be joining the few left who have to fear the Arch Angel’s sword of eternal justice; they will have to feel the same pain after death, as many times as they inflicted pain upon those helpless beings. After they endured all this pain they will turn into nothingness, not worthy to ever be remembered as a part of this universe. All other creatures will enjoy eternal life in love and joy, but the evil ones will be left behind in eternity. It’s up to them now, all they have to fear is themselves. Honestly, if I was one of them, I would throw my hemostats and scissors or whatever other perverted torture instrument I have away, refuse to cut, not do it even one more time, refuse to sell or buy any foreskins for my cosmetic experiments and use my talents for the purpose of healing and not destroying. Or I would change my carrier. If I can not do this because I get to much of a kick out of the screaming and agony of a helpless creature, maybe I would try it on myself. If you are one of those executers or one of those promoters and you say right now, well, this is all bullshit, I am not scared of what this guy says, you better forget what you think you are and reinvent yourself, it’s your last chance to join us. I promise you, you will remember this fair warning once your time comes, it will be all you remember while you scream and see the faces of your past victims. It does not matter if you believe in higher power or not, your fate will be the same, it’s in your own hands now. If you know that you are one of them, don’t mind your little anger right now as you read this, there are united natural and supernatural entities out there which are boiling inside to bring balance and justice. If you fail now, you will fail forever. It was you who started punishing others in the very beginning of their life on earth; it’s you now who has to feel it at the end of yours. Once again, think twice, three, four, ten times, do not go to your next butchering appointment, do yourself and others a favor, don’t fail!!! Don’t allow yourself not to be forgiven! It is not a pretty sight to see you suffer on the other side.

And now we give you another incentive, we will be very humble to you and show you the other side of suffering. How can I say all this? Well, let’s just say I know. I have been around for a while, I am connected, I am a normal guy with common sense and a lot of heart and I love art, I get outrageous when I see pain and injustices and I am able to go way out there sometimes. It does not matter; I have been chosen to bring you this message. The Warning is for real and for your own salvation. We got to stop circumcision now! Why didn’t I write this before and save thousands of babies every day? I wished I could have. I was like you, not conscious about it. I did not know at this time what to do until the words for the Opera just rolled in and I found its deeper meaning a little later. I was very busy raising a family, working on earthly things which I thought were more important. I was distressed like you from all the violence fed by the mass Medias, I was blinded by fear, overwhelmed by crime, politics and wars, all originating in this evilness. It wasn’t my priority even though I knew there was something very wrong out there. I guess I was asleep myself until I stopped watching all this deceiving crap, it took quite some time, smart books, incidences and communication with certain people or angels to wake me up and find my true self again. I had to overcome my own fear. It is my priority now and I hope you can help.

The evil may want to strike back, but its most powerful secret has been unveiled. This message has spread already too far and it will spread like wild fire as we all pass it on. We got the evil by the balls; it will not deceive us anymore. Instead of rubbing its hands together and grinning, I see it already shivering and crouching in a corner biting his fingernails. We will face and strike it with the invisible sword of expanded consciousness and love and make it burst into flames and crumble into ashes soon.

You would not believe how many females are being circumcised in other countries. They are not only circumcised, but also sewn shut with the most primitive tools like thorns, so they can not have intercourse until the insane males or husbands cut them open after marriage, with other words, they are only of any value if they are virgins.

May any circumcision, male or female, mental or physical, be a thing from the dark ages of human history. May we soon not be able to believe that we ever allowed anybody to do this to our children or anybody! May our values change! May we not condemn gentleness, touch and love! May our only real taboos be greed, crime, selfishness, hate and war! May we only feel ashamed if we destroy nature! May the light, life energy and happiness flow through all of us and into each other! May we respect every living creature and ourselves! May we respect mother earth and all matter as it is here for us to enjoy our physical bodies! May we respect the miracle of life and the perfection in the universe! May sexual oppression come to an end now and may the universal healing begin! May we say thank you to the Sun every morning when we get up! She also is pure Love. May we appreciate the Clouds and the Rain sometimes! May we thank the Fire and Mother Earth! If it rains more then we like, it probably means the Gods of Love let us know that they are crying. May we be able to feel what we breathe is Love.

60% of all newborn in North America are still being circumcised against their will every day, which means that there is immense suffering happening right now as we speak. Every day 3,300 innocent babies are being taught fear and are being impregnated with the subconscious desire to seek revenge in their coming life or every 28 seconds another perfectly loving soul is being sacrificed to the evil. A climax and triumph for the evil every 28 seconds in just North America alone. If these children’s souls which are standing in line to be born would know what they have to expect from these insane inhabitants of this planet, if they would know that they risk their favorite love toy to be mutilated under outrageous pain as soon as they touch ground or sometimes even later, they would step aside and not wanting to be born anymore. This will happen as even their consciousness will expand and you know what that means for your kind. We have no time to loose. Let’s save them NOW.

It just was poring rain when I wrote some of this. The Gods of love are crying. Our children are our Gods of Love; let’s not alter or destroy their divine spirit and essence any more. Let’s show them Love and not fear.

ACOG protest in San Francisco

The Bay Area iNtactivist Group recently held a 5 day long protest outside of the ACOG (ObGyns) convention in downtown San Francisco. Although our group is small, I feel we made a big difference. We had several banners ("Circumcision is a Human Rights Violation," "you torture, mutilate men," "you want to cut of what?") and people handing out flyers to doctors the entire length of the convention. We distributed consciencious objector declarations to every doctor willing to take them.
Jews Against Circumcision distributed information about alternatives to religious circ, even thought the ObGyns don't do them. This counters any charge of anti-semitism -- and the fact that many in our group are Jewish. "The enemy" (circing drs) even spoke with us, and we tried to get them to see the light. There was some disagreement in the intactivist ranks here, because a few of our members expressed anger in these conversations. I think it's more effective to be as nice as possible, because then they are more likely to take you seriously and listen to you. Anger and hate accomplish less than kindness. I do not disagree that the anger is justified; it' s really a question of tactics. Anyway, it was incredibly inspiring to meet great folks from Chicago, Boston and Detroit who travelled to SF to protest circumcision. I firmly believe it is one of the most productive ways anyone could spend their time if one is truly concerned about ending all forms of sexual abuse and torture.
